Well- we've used them 3 different times

Bought deal.  This company does not work with Angie's list anymore.

Installation went fine.  It was the product installed that I have an issue with.  Was shocked to find that in the winter, these windows allowed more drafts in than my old double-hungs.  Upon further investigation, I found that these Anderson  windows are only recommended for mild climates....certainly not Minnesota. I even found Anderson sales literature that says the uninsulated vinyl windows did not work in extreme climates.  Not happy at all with product.  Now I am stuck with these poor quality, uninsulated vinyl windows.  Cheap junk.  Never, never should have been sold to a customer in Minneapolis.  Any qualified window installer should know his products better than this.

I purchased a Angie's List deal for window installation and did not even
need to call and make the appointment, he called me!  The window was an
odd size and an placement, so I walked into it knowing it would be more
than the deal price.   The cost quoted was extremely reasonable.  It
took a while because it had to be special ordered from the manufacturer,
but totally worth the wait!

All went smoothly. However, the windows are lower end Andersons and I wish I'd gone with better ones.

Window R Us were very friendly to work with from the beginning. I went with them because of an Angie's List Big Deal and am glad that I did. They provided quick measurements and recommendations for the windows. They also offered up their thoughts on how best to replace them, which was appreciated. Once the windows were ordered and received, they were extremely quick to remove the old windows and install the new windows. They are in solidly, sturdily, and work great. I cannot complain about Windows R Us and will definitely consider using them for future window needs.

Owner dick Rasmussen was out to measure 1 day after initial contact. window was special ordered installation was done one day after he received the order window. window installation looks & works great.

Dick was incredibly helpful from answering my initial phone call, to coming to my home that day to help address the issue, to making a follow-up phone call to see if I had yet located replacement weatherstripping.  I would highly recommend Windows R Us to anyone who needs assistance with a troublesome window or with replacing windows.  He runs a small operation, which results in greater attention spent on you.

They were great guys. They were honest. They didn't try to sell me more than what was needed, which I appreciated. The windows had just gone off warranty, but they worked to get me a discount. They are stand up guys, that I enjoyed working with.

I purchased a home that was foreclosed and all the windows had failed thermo seals. The home was built in 1992-93 and the window glass in that time frame was generally poorly designed from all manufacturers. I contacted the glass manufacturer and was told to call the window manufacturer. They told me to contact Dick at Windows R Us. The window manufacturer was very helpful and offered to heavily discount the new sashes and upgrade the glass to the latest and greatest LowE 366 triple coating. Dick came to the house, measured up all of the windows. A few days later, his bid arrived. It was less than 1/3 the price of having all the windows replaced. I signed his contract and sent him a down payment. In about 4-weeks he called to tell me the windows had arrived and it would take one more week to sand, stain and varnish them all. One week later, he and his crew came and installed them all with new sill caps and hardware where needed. True Craftsman.

THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN AWESOME. THEY ARE VERY HONEST AND THEY DO EVERYTHING THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO AND THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. I HAVE BEEN VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEM. THEY ARE EXCELLENT AND THE WORK IS VERY HIGH QUALITY... THEY ARE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND I EVEN LEFT MY KEYS WITH THEM.
