WEATHERGUARD REMODELING

They put a new roof on our house a couple years ago after some hail damage was found. To their credit, they certainly know how to work with the insurance company to get a claim processed. This all went smoothly. However, I've never been completely satisfied with the quality of the work that was done. Pretty amateurish. The roof just doesn't look as good as the original. I suspect the shingles are not of the same quality. Plus, there are areas where shingles are not completely flat and are sticking up a bit. The clean-up left much to be desired. I'm still finding pieces on old shingle in my yard even 2 years later. I want to be clear that the work wasn't a complete disaster, and I am glad that my insurance put a new roof on my house and it only cost me my $1000 deductible. However, if I was to re-roof in the future, there is no way I would use these guys again.

Overall it went well. They arrived when they said they would. The project manager show up and then he left. The job was done within two days.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS NEARLY PERFECT. THE ONLY BEEF I HAD WITH THEM WAS THAT THEY DID THE WHOLE ROOF IN ONE DAY AND THEY DID THE ASPHALT SHINGLES JUST FINE, BUT THEY SEEMED TO HAVE TROUBLES SEALING THE EDGING AND ALUMINUM SOFFITS FROM THE PREVIOUS ROOF TO THE NEW ROOF. I REALLY LIKED THAT THEY HANDLED THE INSURANCE CLAIM JUST GREAT, IT WAS HASSLE-FREE. THE SALES PERSON TOOK A LONG TIME EXPLAINING ALL OPTIONS. HE DID TELL ME THEY WOULD REPLACE AN OLD FURNACE CHIMNEY, BUT WHEN THEY GOT TO DOING THE JOB I WAS TOLD BY THE PRODUCTION CREW THAT THEY DIDN'T TOUCH CHIMNEYS. I ENDED UP GETTING THE PARTS AND I DID INSTALL IT, SO IT TURNED OUT FINE, BUT WAS A BIT OF A HASSLE BECAUSE THE SALESPERSON DIDN'T EXPLAIN THAT THEY DIDN'T DO THAT UP FRONT. I DON'T THINK HE KNEW THAT WAS SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T DO. THEY CAME RIGHT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND THEY GOT THE JOB DONE.
