They came out and replaced flashing. It looks great. This company replaced our roof in 2008 and did a great job. They are pleasant to work with. They did not charge me for this work.

1st claim with Farmers HelpPoint only had superficial repair authorized. Weather Guard salesperson said damage was more extensive. Sales person met adjuster for 2nd inspection. Adjustor then authorized complete roof replacement and complete siding replacement. Materials were delivered in a timely manner. Roofing was done in one day - I was surprised, they had a large crew. Cleaned up very well. Dumpster was gone at end of day. Siding was delivered in a timely manner. Slight delay in application due to weather. Smaller crew that had to do a lot of custom fitting, so it took longer. Both job foremen kept us informed on progress. We had no "it must be done by" deadline. I wouldn't try to jam this type of job in before a big family event just because of weather issues. Everyone was very professional. I am glad we selected Weather Guard and would use them again. They also did a lot of other homes in our neighborhood after the hail storm.

This began a month long process which eventually led to a brand new roof. But it wasn't simple because insurance companies have raised the bar on what they will consider as "hail damage". Throughout the process the folks from Weatherguard worked competently with the insurance company, negotiated for a fair claim, kept me informed, and returned phone calls within minutes. Because of a rain-out day, my roof replacement was delayed for a couple of days. I was a little anxious that nobody would be at my home the day of the re-roofing (planned vacation). The Weatherguard scheduler assured me that they would take extra precautions re: the yard, plants, recently re-painted wood siding and gutters/downspouts, clean-up, etc. I have to say they did an excellent job. You would not have known they were on the property!

When they did the work they inadvertently cause a ventilation problem. They are taking care of the problem. They did a good job on our roof. When they found out that they had caused a problem, they immediately agreed to pay an hvac technician to fix the problem. Not only did they do a good job but they also accepted responsibility for the mistake they made and made an attempt to fix the problem. I would use them again.

They did a fantastic job including working with my insurance company. They gave a very competitive price to upgrade the quality of shingles. They took great care to clean up after the project. They even followed up after the job a couple of times to see if everything was going well.

They are prompt. The quality is not always there. They sacrifice quality for speed. They don't pay attention to the details like they should.

Weatherguard is very responsive, especially with this insurance-related project. That really set them apart from other highly-ranked companies.

We had a big storm recently. A WeatherGuard representative called me about stopping by our house to look for damage caused by this storm. We scheduled an appointment at 5 pm. I wanted to be home to discuss his findings. After about 3 hours of waiting for the guy to show up, I decided to call him. Apparently, he stopped by earlier that day (even though he knew we were not comfortable of him walking around when we were not home). He did not find any damage and did not care to call us back to tell us that he was not coming.

We were unable to get a new roof put on before the winter storms set in and had to wait until this spring. As soon as the weather was warm enough, we were given an install date, and the material was dropped at our property. All old roofing was removed and the new roof installed in one day. The crew was very efficient and swept the yard and driveway with a metal magnet to pick up any nails.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID FINE. THEY WERE PRETTY GOOD IN GETTING BACK TO US AND DOING WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. WHEN THEY HAD TO GET CLOSE TO A WINDOW, THEY DAMAGED THE WOOD TRIM AND THEY REPLACED IT. THERE WAS NOT REALLY MUCH CLEAN UP AFTER THE WORK.

It was very helpful to have the company representative involved during the insurance adjuster's evaluation of the storm damage. Representative worked with the adjuster to completely define the scope of the project and materials required. This process took a couple of hours, but no surprises! Materials were ordered and the new roof was done within two weeks. The actual construction took one day. All debris was completely removed. Nice people, good to work with, and all involved seemed very experienced. In fact the company representative corrected the insurance adjuster (and the insurance company), when the insurance claim specified using a replacement shingle of lesser quality than the original.

They did a super job. They were a little careless in the removal of the roof which caused some minor damage to the siding, which they did take care of. They were responsive to any minor issues that we had. We would use them again.

Salesperson first evaluated the roof and determined whether damage existed. Once complete, he worked with our insurance company. Weatherguard agreed to use the materials that we requested (specific brand), and did not charge us when we decided to upgrade our shingles a second time. The installation was very quick (one day) with a staff of 12. They did a great job, and came back several times afterward to make sure that everything was cleaned up and satisfactory.

The quality of the new roof is good, but in the process of installing it, the roofers broke bushes and flowers around the house and damaged the drive-way. The company did compensate us for the damages ($300) although it took them a really long time. We also talked to WeatherGuard about replacing the windows. They quoted around $8K, which was submitted to the insurance company. Before the actual work was started, they acknowledged that they could not really do the windows the way we had them. The could only do picture-framed windows for the quoted price. If we wanted to keep the existing look, we would need to pay them additional $3500 for changing the siding on the side where windows were being replaced. Well, we did not really want to proceed with them. Overall, the company was not responsive, always making us think/feel that something was already done or on its way, when this was not the case.

Last September's storms probably slowed down the progress of most companies. Weatherguard was no exception. The roof was originally inspected on 3/29. The work was not completed until mid August. There was one mix-up with the shingles, when 30-year were delivered instead of 40-year. This delayed the work for another three weeks. The work was done very well and looks great. The $1200 investment in 40-year shingles was worth it, as they are thicker and stand up to stronger winds and weather. The entire project was completed in just over one day. Although there was slight browning of the lawn in one area, there was no other damage. Clean-up was performed reasonably well. Overall, I think the company did a very good job. Our biggest problem came when the final bill arrived. The insurance company paid for 2/3 of the remaining amount due; we were going to pay for the remaining balance on credit (earning points, then paying on card) and discovered that Weatherguard does NOT take Visa! Silly.
