Computer Repair
My computer was hit with a power surge and the modem blew out. I took it in to PC Network and they suggested installing a modem card. When I got the computer home, I couldn't dial up because the modem was not installed correctly. I called the company and when we couldn't get it fixed over the phone, a technician came out. After that I discovered that they had updated my Windows version and due to a problem that came from Microsoft, I was getting a message saying that my version of Windows was not legal (it is). Then the virus protection started bringing up error message after error message --I would have paid them extra to fix that. Then the second time I used the modem, the dongle cracked when I was disconnecting it from the modem. They said it was due to my misuse and wouldn't replace it. All-in-all, they were polite people but clearly they didn't followed through to ensure I had a working computer.
