JEANNE HAD SOME GOOD IDEAS FOR MAKING MY HOME MORE APPEALING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS. OVERALL, SHE PROVIDES A GOOD SERVICE, BUT I THINK IT'S A BIT OVERPRICED. THE $150 FEE BOUGHT APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR'S WORTH OF ADVICE ON THINGS SUCH AS HOW TO REARRANGE THE FURNITURE, WHAT TO DISPLAY ON KITCHEN COUNTERS AND BOOKSHELVES, USE OF FRESH FLOWERS, ETC.

"$150.00 IS A FAIR RATE FOR A DESIGN CONSULTATION. IT IS A STANDARD RATE IN THE INDUSTRY. THE AMOUNT OF TIME INVOLVED IS ALSO TYPICAL OF A DESIGN CONSULTATION. DESIGN CONSULTATIONS ALLOW A PERSON TO BE A D-I-Y OR HIRE A DESIGNER TO GO FURTHER INTO HER VISION. BOTTOM LINE: "DESIGNER''S SAVE YOU MONEY IN THE LONG RUN.""
