Really well. We were impressed with the quality of the work. It was a relatively small job for them but treated it like an important job and it came out so well. We are happy and no apparent leaks so far. We would gladly hire them again when we need a new roof.

Very satisfied with the prompt service and the professionalism of the 3 man crew. They removed and replaced my hail damaged roof in 2 day. The work was excellent.

The three main people that worked with us were Brad, John and Pam.  Each was very professional and responsive to our concerns.  John assisted us in choosing a new roof shingle.  He also was available when the work started and he made frequent visits as the work progressed.  The firm actually started earlier than planned and finished well within the estimated timeframe.  The work crew was excellent.  They worked steady and the cleanup was continual as the old roof was removed.  The end cleanup was very very good.  We had one small screen puncture due to an errant shingle coming off the roof.  The screen was totally repaired by the end of the day.   The new roof was installed correctly, and we met all the provisions of the building permit.  Several days after the roof was completed the work team installed a new cupola.  We highly recommend Bruette Roofing for future projects.

The estimates and basic work was great. The problems came after the job was done. We have an upstairs washer/dryer. They cut and nailed my roof dryer vent to the roof. To empty the lint from the roof vent, I would go in the attic, remove the vent and clean it and put it back in place. With it nailed in the roof, I could no longer clean it (unless my arm were 6' long with a few more elbow joints). Needless to say, my dryer would become really ineffective since I can no longer clean out the lint. I called him and despite the fact that I had told them I had a dryer upstairs, he was not willing to do anything to fix my problem unless I paid him extra. He started becoming rude, almost yelling on the telephone. He used a lot of double speaking, like saying they didn't do something to the vent and then later contradicting himself (and repeatedly telling me that venting out the roof was dangerous and we should change it to vent out the front of our house). It was difficult to get anywhere because he wouldn't listen to anything I said and talk over me.. Most of what I said ended in him deflecting it or twisting what I was saying. An example was he was going to call me back on a Monday. He didn't, but when he did a week or lo late, he was angry because he said I was the one that was supposed to call him back. Trying to explain that he said he would call me back was useless. The really frustrating one was when he said they didn't change anything on the vent and then finally agreeing that cutting and nailing to the roof is changing the vent. It became so frustrating that I ended up hanging up on him and letting my level-headed husband talk to him. My husband also became angry at his rude denials and doublespeaking. In the end, he never fixed the problem. We ended up having to fix it ourselves by cutting the inside vent and taping it back in place after we empty the lint. I am sure we frustrated him because we held back his payment until it was resolved. The work was great, but not caring about what was done with our dryer vent, and refusing to fix it is bad service. His people skills are seriously lacking.

"What the Gudmundson'[Member Information Removed] are neglecting to mention and didn't seam to able to grasp when I tried to explain to them is this....... You can't run a dryer exhaust and bath fan exhaust into 1 single exit pipe going out to exhaust vent on roof side because of the air-flow dynamics and condensation problems it creates. If we had X-ray vision to see into attic from outside on 12/12 roof slope we could have seen what they had going on and put in another simple $20 exhaust vent, which they could have connected to. They would not listen to my explanation and assumed I was a dishonest businessman trying to avoid coming back to rectify a problem. (which I wasn't responsible for) They have never had any roofing related issues (8 yrs) only this HVAC problem in attic....hope they keep dryer vent clear of lint....serious fire hazard ! Salute to honest and hard working roofers everywhere, like my Dad who I never heard say anything dishonest or bad mouth a customer."

We had asked for a bid in mid-February and Bruette was one of two firms to bid. We were getting some things in order and finally firmed up the work in early April. They were able to come the next week. Results were great and the clean-up was fantastic - there was nothing left on the ground anywhere around the house. Would definitely recommend their services.
