Process started as scheduled and was completed professionally. They exceeded our expectations.

Chris and his crew were really great. Each day I walk through the rooms they worked on and admire their work. Real craftsmen. I had a foyer area that was carpeted and plywood under it. They replaced with oak flooring and perfectly matched with the wood floors in the adjacent rooms. There was also a stairway and that required some craftsmanship to get that to flow right. While they were here they refinished the rest of the wood floors. They even fixed the front door. The door jamb was rotted out and they replaced it.
Very pleased with the quality of their work and value. Probably a lot of folks can refinish floors. Again, these guys are more master carpenters who also refinish. Thanks Chris

I have had a difficult time finding someone to do this relatively small job. Finally I called Board By Board and talked with the proprietor, Chris Olson. He said he thought he could get to it in a couple of weeks. After a couple of weeks passed, I called to remind him, and he scheduled John Thomas to come out the next day and do the job. John was on time, knew what he was doing, and finished up promptly. Chris was the fifth business I talked with, and the only one to follow through and do the job.

Chris was very professional and did a great job. The project took approximately three days. He discussed care of the materials we used. He was also good at discussing expectations (ie there will be some barely visible nail holes at the edge of the room. I'm very pleased with the end product. We originally purchased a pre-finished floor thinking that we would do the project ourselves. Had we known we were contracting out, I would have had unfinished cherry installed and finished after installation. I'm so very glad we decided to go with Chris instead of taking on the project ourselves. If I have any other hardwood floor needs in my home I will definitely use Chris again.

I was impressed with the quality and overall professionalism and the fact that the job was done in a timely manner and that it was a very clean removal of old carpet. All 3 rooms surpassed my expectations of quality. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and anyone looking for an extremely quality job.
