Had a bid the next day after calling. They were the cheapest by far over two other competitors' quotes I received. Great communication!! They even called me when they were not sure they would be able to get the tree branch down without damaging my neighbors and my landscaping. I highly recommend BJ Haines Tree Service.

During the job, the owner broke his gas chain saw and promised to return to finish the job. He did not come back to finish the job. I called and talked to his wife 3 to 4 times and she promised me that they were coming back to finish. Once again I called the company and that I would slap a lien on the company with the attorney general. I received a check in the amount of 100.00 from the company the next day

But I still have the same problem and will now I will have to look for another Tree Service.

This is really a poor company to do business with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had three trees that needed to be removed. Two of the trees were in my front yard - a large pine tree that was growing into power lines and a medium sized maple tree that was partially rotted, and one very large maple tree that was in my backyard and very close to my neighbors garage and my garage. I contacted 3 tree services for estimates. BJ Haines was the lowest, and they also said they'd remove the maple tree by hand without needed to bring a bucket truck into the backyard. They quoted $600 for the pine tree, $500 for the rotted maple tree, and $3,000 for the maple tree in the back, which was significantly less than my other bids.
BJ Haines took care of dealing with the electric company for the power lines, which I really appreciated, since they were difficult to deal with. They started right away on both days (it was a 2-day job). They cleaned up all the brush and wood, including some extra brush in the yard I left after I pruned some other trees and shrubs earlier that week. They cleaned up the stumps really well, too, and removed the wood chips, and filled in the holes.
Overall, they were a great company to work with. The couple that owns the company is very friendly, and their crew is incredibly skilled. It was absolutely fascinating to watch the crew climb and remove the largest tree!

I have used BJ Haines Tree Service twice and have been very pleased both times. They did a great job of cleaning up the yard, you would barely know they were even there! They come out to the house, give you an estimate and leave it in your front door. They were out within a week to take the tree down.
