The construction quality is solid, though there are some noticeable substitutions made, presumably to come in at budget...such as non-commercial carpeting in the common area hallway, painted exterior surfaces on the porches that quickly cracked and peeled due to the harsh Minnesota weather patterns, and a vanity that is discoloring and cracking around the sink drain.  These have been acceptable things to deal with.  The primary frustration we had with Radcliffe was follow-up with our concerns after we had moved in.  We were given Les Radcliffe's phone number in case we had questions or concerns.  We called him a couple of times and each time he came over he seemed irritated and frustrated that we called him.  This was also the experience of other unit owners who called him.  Each time he came to the condo he solved the problem we had called about but it was not pleasant to interact with him.  The actual construction, however, is still in great shape now seven years later.  The cabinets are very high quality construction, the floors, walls, plumbing, electrical, are all very well done.     

Bob was very professional and friendly. He gave us a complete estimate of everything that we wanted done plus options for upgrades.All work done was done to a high standard with many sub-contractors in the mix and we were always updated to what they planned on working on next. We did have a few delays with the sub-contractors that Radcliffe homes had liitle control of. We love all the work that they did for us and we plan on having them do more remodeling in the future.

They showed up on time and they did good work. They are reliable.

I was generally happy with the work performed. Work was completed promptly as promised. I would use their handyman services again.

We've had daily interaction with them for the past 4 1/2 months. His communication skills have stood out. They do quality work. They are willing to listen to our ideas and add in some new ones to incorporate what we want to get done. We would use them again if we had needs.

They we easy to contact and schedule time to work on our bathroom; even returned on a Saturday to finish installing the tile sub material for the shower stall. They were helpful in making decisions about the height of the shower, etc. and very professional. After the demolition portion we did the tile work ourselves which took a long time. Once we were finished with the tile they were able to quickly come back to install the shower, toilet, and faucet. As we had raised the floor height, they even trimmed the door for us to accommodate the new floor height. Overall work was very clean and they went above and beyond to clean up and make sure we were happy with the work.

We'd had Radcliffe add on to our house 10 years ago and liked their work then. So even when they came in a little high on the cost, we agreed to go with them anyway. They do what they say they'll do. Came on time, finished on time, gave us credit for materials not used.

My contract stated that the job would be done June 1, but it was not even started until after that date. There was very little communication about the status of my windows all throughout the project, starting with this delay. The workers who installed the windows were pleasant and did a good job, but I was not informed by anyone what was finished, wether or not I could use the windows, how to use them or if the job was done. It took a long time for the siding work to be done. When I asked if they were done, I was asked if I thought they were done. I said no, so the sales rep came by and then sent someone out. In the end the siding work was OK, but not as good as I had hoped. I was never asked if I was satisfied with the siding, the guy only talked to my 15 year old daughter. When I got the bill, it was higher than my estimate because they had added on an item that was already on the original estimate. I have requested in writing twice and in person for the certificate to get the tax rebate but have not yet received anything. It's too bad the customer service is so poor, because the actual work done in the installation of the windows was very good.
