THE CURTAIN FACTORY

It seemed to take forever to get the items made and delivered. We've been without curtains for a few months. At least the windows face our big back yard. After paying so much to our interior decorator for the fabric/hardware and to Lynn for the custom labor work, there still seems to be some minor flaws. 1) I've had to use giant paperclips in the curtains in the family room, dining room, and on the living room panels to help the fabric to hang more vertically and make some more distinct creases (pleats). 2) Also, the valence panel sections have moved so some parts are opened wider while other parts are closer together at their divisions. 3) In addition, the panels, which were lined with sewn backing, don't hang straight-they seem wrinkled and baggy and hang heavily like two coats or carpets. Lynn made some earlier adjustments which helped, but the fabric seems to take on a life of their own. Some of the bottom pleats have spread out and are not as uniformly distinct.
