Budget Locksmith

We needed a duplicate key made for a 2013 Subaru Outback. This is a key with the remote and chip built into the key. To save money, the locksmith instructed me to purchase the key blank from Amazon ($50). The locksmith charged $90 to cut and program the key (Total cost: $140). Four other locksmiths that I contacted could not cut the key. The dealership cost was $270. Luke was on time (he actually called ahead of time and was able to arrive early) and came to our house to do the work. This was a good experience and we saved money.

I lost the only key to my Honda Prelude. I called around to a lot of places and couldn't get help. The Honda dealer said I would have to put in a whole new system in the car. I ended up getting referred to Luke @ Budget Locksmith. I communicated with Luke for my whole transaction. He was professional, friendly and clear in what I needed to do. I mailed the money, key I had but was not programmed, and immobilizer so he could reflash the system. He mailed it back to me and I have my car again. Very honest and trustworthy. Luke came out in his mobile Locksmith van on the day agreed upon. He gave me an update about an hour before scheduled start time that he'd be about 15-20 min delay, which was fine. He showed up in that timeframe. He programmed the 1 FOBIK and determined the other I received from manufacturer had defect that I'm handling separately with the manufacturer I purchased it from. He cut the door opening keys for included in the overall price. Cost was more reasonable than other Locksmiths or dealer in our area. There was no extra change for programming a 2nd FOBIK. The new device worked perfectly and 2 original ones worked as intended. Overall, I'm very happy with this business and the way Luke K. treated me (i.e. professionally, fairly). I'd recommend them to anyone and I'll call them again if/when future needs for professional Locksmith services are needed. Thank you!

Great service and pricing. They recommended buying the parts online myself to save money and they would be able to program and cut them. Showed up right on time and quickly got to work. They were able to program the smart fob in minutes and it took a little while to get the key cut just right as the one I purchased was not OEM. 2/3 the cost of going with another place and 1/3 the cost of the dealership

After being unable to find a local shop to cut me this key and being quoted $165 from the Ford dealership, I called Budget Locksmith. They came out and cut me a key for half the price.
