Very Poor communication. Lost paper work. Still finding nails in my yard. Found scrap wood IN my garage.

"We are sorry to hear that your experience with Rooster Exteriors was not satisfying to you. When we finished the project for you, you were very happy with our work. You complimented us many times! We helped you with your insurance company so that they approve you for a new roof, due to storm damage. They agreed to pay, but insurance deducted your deductible and depreciation, which was a small fraction you needed to pay out of pocket per your policy with your insurance company. We offered you financing to help you with these expenses and with option to qualify for 0% rate. Unfortunately the bank did not qualify you for 0% rate. After you have reviewed and signed the finance paperwork, stating what you rate is going to be, you've called us almost a month later and complained to us because you did not qualify for 0% interest and you got upset with us, yelling on the phone. You've threatened us to give us bad reviews on all internet sites. We see that you've been adding bad reviews for our company for the last 3 months now all over the net. Again, we sorry to see you unhappy, but it's too bad that when you don't qualify for 0% rate you blame us for it. But yet our trade of work and what we specialize in, you have complimented in words, but now you are giving us bad ratings all over the net. We work very hard to have every house installed with new roof and siding and go above and beyond to please our homeowners. The owner of the company personally came out and spent long time cleaning by hand nails that got missed when your gutters were replaced. Its important to us to do clean and professional job. Unfortunately we don't have any control what interest rate our clients will qualify for with a third party bank."

Rooster Exteriors is every terrible contractor cliché rolled into one. Do not hire them unless you want a super frustrating experience. I hired them to replace my soffit and facia on my home. I chose them because their salesman seemed nice and said they could start the work the following week and be done in three days. A clever trick. I then spent the next six weeks wondering if I had just fallen for some kind of scam. I would text them, call them, leave messages and get constant lies and misdirection. They would answer just enough to make me think the work was about to start but it never did. A classic case of a contractor taking 50% down and then disappearing so you are held hostage. The ONLY reason they actually responded and started to work was because we put a negative review on Yelp. Once they saw that, they immediately responded and started working. But it took them 10 weeks to get done what they originally quoted me would take 2 weeks or less. They left the yard FILTHY with insulation, nails, and shingle debris that we had to clean ourselves. The install of the soffit and facia seems adequate but the details are sloppy and inconsiderate. All the caulking lines along the joints were done with a shaky finger wiping along them and are so sloppy they look like my 3 year old kid was in charge. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I am surprised they have even managed to stay in business this long.

This also coincided with your negative review on YELP. No further complaints were made until the completion of the project. We did additional work at no cost to you, because we stand behind the bid that you were given prior to the work being done. When you called after the work was done the only thing that you requested was half of your bill to be forgiven. We did give you a reasonable discount for your inconvenience with our Sales Department, which at the time you stated would be adequate. You made final payment based off of that invoice and then began to submit negative reviews with many different outlets. We have made numerous attempts to contact you and find a mutual resolution to your concerns and have received no response. Thank you for your feedback in regards to our company, we will use it to implement new procedures to ensure better customer satisfaction in the future."

Sergie, owner, was great to work with - very personable and professional. He explained the project carefully and included many extras in the price. Tracy, project manager, was also great to work with. The workers did a great job and did not cut any corners - they can be proud of the work they performed. Our only financial obligation was our insurance deductible. Sergie guaranteed the final price would be within the settlement offered by the insurance company. I would be happy to work with Sergie and Rooster Exteriors again.

The roofing was fine and was done in like 2014, however the bay window installation went horrible. The window came in and they hung on to it for a year before coming out to install it. They were storm chasing, so they didn't have time to come and install my window. Responsiveness is horrible and the salesman and the owner do not respond to calls or messages.

Well done from the initial call through timely roof replacement. Owner Sergio was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout roof review and discussion of options. The tear off and roofing team were quick and cleaned up well. The project manager made sure all went smoothly and was out to answer any questions/concerns. We are very pleased with the new roof at a competitive price!

Rooster Exteriors did our roof for us. We had attempted doing it ourselves and after tearing off the roof realized we were in over our heads. Jamie with Rooster really came through for us. He had a crew out there next day to finish up the job so we could beat the rain that was expected. Roof looks beautiful and couldn't have been more pleased with the level of customer service.

We recently had a new roof installed by Rooster Exteriors, Inc. We were so impressed with the quality of work, workmanship & timely fashion in which the work was completed that I felt compelled to write this review. Sergie, the owner, said that we had some storm damage, took pictures of the damage & even called our insurance company & talked to our agent for us to generate a claim. He took care of "EVERYTHING" from A-Z & now we have a beautiful new roof that the insurance company paid for because of the storm damage. Sergie, the owner, Jamie, the project coordinator, Benito & his crew members were all present when the project was started to make sure that everything was in place. They did such a fantastic job !! It was such a pleasure to work with Sergie & his professional team & would like to highly recommend this company. As an added plus we also have a 50 Yr. guarantee from GAF that Rooster Roofing pays for.

Sergie showed up as promised. He went up on the roof to inspect the damage (and re aimed my TV antenna that the wind gust moved - while he was up there). He said he had never seen that kind of damage before but said he would send a man out to repair the damage with new shingles.
Two days latter the man showed up and repaired the damage at to charge to us and did not need to make an insurance claim.
The only negative was the original workers had used too short of nails on the ridge that covered a ridge vent. But the repair was made using the proper sized nails.

The work was accomplished in a professional manner by 8 workers and a supervisor on hand at all times. Any questions had were answered and explained. One worker found an area of the roof that was rotted and it was addressed at that time. They did a great cleanup job. They even came back the next morning when it was day light to finish the clean up that could not be taken care of because of darkness. My roof was replaced due to hail storm that came through last May. I would highly recommend Rooster Exteriors to those who require a new roof. Gene from Eagan, MN

Overall it went very well. The materials arrived in a timely manner. The roofers took 2 days to complete but most was done in one day. Since the roof was about 20 years old there was some underlying damage. 98% of the work was in the first 2 days but some of the underlying structure on a roof overhanging a deck had rotted and it took awhile to get a carpentry crew to repair that. The Construction Manager Gregg Biske was outstanding, overseeing the work being performed by the roofing crew, and very sensitive to our needs and concerns with the needed roof repairs and he made adjustments in cost for a few minor mishaps. He even called us on his own time at night to be sure we were kept informed and satisfied. Dealing with the contract manager from the office was also a positive experience. In summary Rooster followed through on the contract provisions and did an excellent complete job!
