My needed more repairs than it was worth, so I called around town and got a few quotes. The big same day installation companies (Neighborhood and Opie's One Hour) were about $2000 more expensive than the smaller local companies. I got installation quotes from the local guys the same day, just had to wait a day for someone to come out to install. The Carrier and Trane brand furnaces were $500-1000 more expensive than the Amana brand I went with (this is the brand St. Cloud Heating & A/C installs). Amana has a much better warranty than the others as well. Gary, the co-owner, is super knowledgeable and took time to answer all of my questions both at my house and over the phone. He also made sure I didn't end up with the right size furnace for my house and discussed pros and cons of the additional add on features. I'm very happy with my choice and confident that I'll have exceptional service for years to come.
