Standard Heating & Air Conditioning

We've relied on Standard Heating and Air Conditioning for 30 years, and they continue to impress us! Recently, when our furnace started sounding like a jet engine, I submitted a service request through their website and received a call back almost immediately to schedule an appointment. Jerod was assigned to our case, and he was fantastic—polite, thorough in his inspection, and quick to resolve the issue. I was very pleased with the fast turnaround, excellent customer service, and the overall ease of working with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.

I've used Standard for years for both my AC and heating. They do yearly tune-ups, and are completely professional, clean, and courteous. This is a solid, dependable company.

Jason services our furnaces and air conditioner and he always does a great job. He is prompt, courteous, and dependable. He always explains what he is doing and what needs to be done to keep our heating and cooling systems in good working order.

I have yearly maintenance done every year. They come in, do what is expected. Then they also do little things that are not expected. This year they fixed a small rattle in my furnace. I appreciate the professional attitude, and workmanship of Chee and Connor. Thanks guys.

KC was professional and friendly. He did the annual check and showed the part that needed to be replaced to ensure continued operation of the AC unit. He returned and replaced the part. Standard is always reliable and polite.

I've used Standard Heating for 10 years...from installing a new furnace and air conditioning system to performing periodic routine maintenance checks to making repairs. Their service has been consistently fabulous. I've had the same service tech for most of my periodic checks and I appreciate that kind of stability. My HVAC system has done everything it is supposed to do without problems. My only quibble, lest you think I'm exaggerating, is that there have been a couple of times when Standard hasn't notified me that it's time for my periodic maintenance check. Easily solved, however...I just gave them a call and got it scheduled. Pretty minor in the scope of things. Definitely will continue to use them.

Perfect! Cody was professional and friendly. He was thorough and let me know that a filter needed to be changed and gave me advice on what filters to buy. We have them come out every year - once in the spring to check the air conditioning and once in the fall to check the furnace. It's good to know that everything is functioning well.

Furnace not lighting

After doing some remodeling work in our home we knew we had created a lot of dust that got sucked into our duct system. We called Standard Heating & Air Conditioning to come sort us out. They called ahead on the scheduled day, arrived on time, explained their procedure, got right to work, worked steadily during the job, warned us ahead about noisy times so we could make phone calls, wore protective masks, cleaned up. What more could one ask? Our ductwork is super clean, our inside air is fresh. We are happy that we had Standard come to our house.

Matt did furnace and ac tuneup. He arrived on time and was very helpful and accommodating for any questions that we had. He did offer their maintenance plan but was not pushy about it. I would hire them again, and we do hope we get Matt again.

Wonderful. Every from the office staff to the tech we a pleasure to work with. Had scheduled a appointment and had to reschedule due to a conflict. The scheduling staff were so pleasant and understanding. I really appreciated being able to reschedule. The tech was very professional and personable. She was thorough and efficient. Answered my questions about the general condition of my heating/cooling system and gave me information about the general cost of replacing heating/cooling system. Also advised me of the best times of year to replace a furnace or air conditioner. It was a great experience and would definitely use this company again.

I've been using Standard Heating for a couple years and they are always responsive, thorough and professional. I think that their prices are fair. I would definitely recommend them.

As a result of a furnace inspection, Greg showed me how our chimney liner, the original in our 1932 house had almost completely rusted out. Worse, the accumulated debris was significantly blocking the T where the furnace exhaust entered. I was grateful that he discovered before significant CO got into our house; and this deterioration explained the significant condensation we got last winter. I accepted Standard's bid of $2,990 for replacement. Prices always seem higher than I expect, but I have used Standard several times in the past and am always satisfied with their work. Work was done two weeks later, and no problems since then during this very cold winter.

Very well. The technician was very pleasant and friendly, the work was done well, and we feel confident going into the winter. He sold us an annual contract, after pointing out that the air conditioning system in our home is a bit dated (pre-2000). We called Standard because they'd done the service for us in years past, and in looking over Angie's List reviews, saw that they were still highly regarded. Our only reservation is that we had some miscommunication about the originally scheduled service date, and waited for a few hours that morning before calling to find out that the company had it booked for that afternoon. I don't really know if that was an error on our part or theirs, but there was no confirmation process the day before, which would have prevented the problem.

After a thorough assessment of our air conditioning needs, Denise, the sales rep laid out all the information needed for a decision to repair or replace the unit. We decided to make the repair and were very impressed with the knowledge and integrity of the team members both in sales and repair.

Easy to book and they arrived within the timeframe they gave. They installed my furnace and AC 4 years ago and I trust them so much I use them for the maintenance as well.

Lousy. Sales person kept pushing and pushing me towards “their top of the line” system. Felt like Weinstein was trying to rape me but it was Standard heating. Look out for these scammers?

As Expected!

It went very well. Sales rep Rich Tourand was very knowledgeable and explained the products and options clearly. He gave me an excellent price for quality products. I had needed a second opinion after another company was going to charge a very high price and tried to get me to commit right away from 4 options on the technician's tablet. I then chose to call Standard because of their high rating on Angie's List. Their price was less than half the other company's and I felt like I was dealing with a quality, competent company. Mesha, the man who installed the new furnace and air cleaner, was very experienced and did a great job.

Every fact of the service was great from the initial phone call to the completed service. Very dependable and professional organization

Maintenance was straightforward. The service person saved me LOTS of money by simply tightening a nut on valves that stopped the minor leaks. When I had a similar problem several years ago another company told me I needed to replace the valves - very expensive repair.
