Excellent service and communication from start to finish. I had many estimates for an HVAC ductless air conditioner, and Drew was the only one who was honest about the Xcell energy rebate—there isn't one for this system. The installation crew was considerate, efficient, and clean! I highly recommend Snelling Heating and Cooling.

We hired Snelling Heating, Cooling, and Electric to install a ductless air conditioning system. They recommended equipment, helped us determine what size of unit to get and where to position it best, and the pros and cons for different locations. It's worked perfectly for summer cooling and fall heating, and we couldn't be happier. Team was very professional, and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using the Snelling Co. for many years and they never disappoint. My 20-year-old furnace needed replacement and Snelling just installed it. They whole process of working with them is great. All of their people seem top-notch. They are knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to work with. They are prompt and reliable, explain things clearly and welcome questions and clean up when their work is done. They do annual maintenance on our furnace and air conditioner. I’ve recommended them over the years to friends and neighbors and everyone loves them.

Brandan got about his work quickly and found that there was a rust hole in my just about 10 year old Lennox equipment! He educated me as to the possible causes and next steps to look to this in June when it is prime time AC weather. Also, our three cats enjoyed his visit and in particular, Jayne the OciCat was quite pleased to have Brandan about!

Brandon was amazing. I had multiple issues happening and he fixed them all. Even when his day had ended, he returned to fix a third problem that arose after the first two were fixed. Impressed with his expertise and the incredible customer service. They have a customer for life.

Serviceman came out promptly as promised. He was courteous, explained everything he was doing and did a good job identifying the wiring issues and connecting the wires where multiple rooms passed through a ceiling receptacle. My only issue is that the $90+ service call fee is a little hefty and did not count towards the work done. I would recommend Snelling to others, but for simpler jobs like this in the future, I would seek a more cost effective electrician.

The electrician just rescrewed back the fixture to the ceiling board that has came off which I could have done it myself. Unfortunately I wasn't present because this is a rental property. He charged me $200 for a 10 minute job without asking permission first what he planned to do. According to him most companies charged $200 plus just for showing up. What a scam!

"[Member Name Removed], We always prefer to have the owner present to avoid these types of issues. The diagnostic fee of $97 to have a tech out was communicated when the call was placed. Once on site he met with the renter and diagnosed the issue and secured the fixture. Our tech had an hour of time from dispatch to resolution. This was a reasonable charge for a home service provider. There is a lot of overhead to provide in home rapid service for an unknown issue. Please keep this in mind when you call service providers in the future. Thanks, Snelling Company"

And it turned out, Snelling electric was able to forgo the rewiring with a better, less expensive fix. So much so, that we had them do a couple of other little electrical jobs while they were here and they did it quickly, efficiently and smartly at a reasonable price. Great Job!

Alex first advised me on all the options available to me. He helped me order online the correct LED light strip for my garage. When the LED light was delivered, Alex returned and meticulously removed the old 1976 fluorescent light fixture and installed the new LED light. The new LED light strip was missing two screws, yet Alex creatively solved the issue, safely securing the LED strip and its casing to the garage ceiling. Snelling recycled five of the old 8’ fluorescent lights for a very small price. Excellent, professional service. Will hire again.

Jake Barfield was the rep from Snelling who was able to come to my house within 5 days. He was on time and already knew the sq. footage of my home because he had used Google? Earth to measure it before he came. Snelling could install most brands but they had the best prices on Trane because they purchased so many ahead of time each year. so, already I am interested. Jake asked me a lot of questions to help him recommend what system would best fit my needs. He gave a great presentation That made both me and my wife comfortable and confident that he knew what he was doing. BIG DEAL!! There were a number of places in the discussion where he could have sold something that was more expensive, but he talked me out of it. So, I knew he was honest and concerned in our best welfare. That doesn't happen very often in the business world! We agreed on a system, and were able to schedule an installation two weeks later. Because the other company that we had scheduled to interview was a bit reluctant to leave the confines of Mpls. and come all the way out to Apple Valley, and my wife and I liked Jakes presentation and product, we decided to forget the 2nd company. We agreed on the installation for today, August 6th. Jake took care of all the energy rebates and permits beforehand. He called a few days ahead and said that Snelling had everything ready to go on the appointed date. I bought a high efficiency (97%), but not the highest, furnace 80,000BTU and a 3 ton 16 SEER AC unit, with about $1,000. in rebates. At 8:30 this morning, three trucks and four arrived, came in and covered all of the carpet and put on their "booties" and got work. They were true professionals, only took one short break in 5 + hours, dismantled my old system to haul away and installed my knew system. They were so quiet that I hardly knew that they are working their tails off in the basement. When they were finished, one of them went over everything with me and answered all of my questions. They left my furnace room cleaner that it was when they arrived. Great job from beginning to end. I will certainly recommend them to everyone I know. How great to have a company that takes such pride in what they do from top to bottom! Oh, and the company that thought Apple Valley may be to far from Mpls? Too bad!

They came on time, did excellent work, price was fair. The only thing I wish they did before is ask where on south wall in dining room did I want the outlet. It was not put where I expected, hope no one trips over cords.
