It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. My roof was in great shape and he didn't have to do anything so there were no additional charges. He was great. He got the history on the roof and the house. He took photographs of the roof and emailed them to me so I would have them for my house maintenance file. He said that he would love to sell me a new roof but mine was in excellent shape. He seemed thorough. He didn't try to do anything to sell me more. I don't have any idea of what the going rate is. He was a nice guy. We had to reschedule multiple times because of the weather.

It went great! We thought Mike was very professional and polite and very prompt in making contact with us. We saved his business card and intend on using him in the future.

Joel inspected my roof, found about 30 popped nails which he fixed and caulked; he checked all of the vents to see if they needed caulking;he checked the condition of the roof and also checked my chimney and the cedar shake siding. He was very honest in his appraisals, i.e., he said the roof was in good condition, the chimney needs to be tuck-pointing and some of my cedar shakes are rotting. He was very matter-of-fact in his assessments; he wasn't an alarmist and gave me a time frame for needed repairs. He also took pictures so I could see what he was talking about. He didn't try to sell me anything. I felt he was very trustworthy and personable yet professional. I highly recommend him and have asked him for a bid on the siding.

This was a great experience! Joel contacted me immediately after I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal - $99 Roof Maintenance Package - to set up the appointment, and was willing to work around my schedule and come at 7:30am! They spent time thoroughly inspecting the roof and took pictures to show me the work that needed to be done (and that they did) - caulking, sealing, fixing nail pops, and pushing my gutters back into place. Then they emailed the pictures to me too! They were right on time and very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!

Our contact (Mike Henry) was excellent in communicating with us in scheduling our appointment. We had some shingle damage due to a tree branch rubbing against our roof. Even though it was beyond the scope of our appointment, Mike took care of it for us. The work was excellent! Before coming across Hampton Exteriors, I was concerned about who I was going to hire to do this work - having had mixed experiences with quality and price in the past. I couldn't be more pleased with this experience!!!!! I highly recommend contacting this firm!

Our shingles that were put on our house are perfect! They were exactly as they looked before hand and they gave us many options to make it perfect for us and what WE wanted! I felt very comfortable with the staff that we worked with! They got everything done in a timely matter and the finished product looks fabulous!

Hampton Exteriors was recommended by a friend. I called them because there had been hail in the area and I wanted them to check our roof for damage. The first time I called Joel, he called right back and said he was out of town, but that he could look at the roof on the following Mon. or Tues. A week went by and he never called to set up an appt. I called back and he said he would be there in a day or two, which he was. He said there was hail damage on the roof and gutters. Our insurance company will not start a claim until they receive an estimate for the work to be done. I called Joel and told him that. He said they don't usually do things that way but he could write up an estimate. Another week or 10 days went by and the insurance co. had not received an estimate for the work. I called Joel's son, Jeremy, and told him we needed that estimate to be sent in before the insurance co. would send out an assessor. Joel and Jeremy came out and measured the roof (which they hadn't done the first time) and Joel said he would send in an estimate that evening later on. Several days went by and Joel finally called saying he was having trouble faxing the estimate to the insurance office. He said if he couldn't get it faxed he would just send it through the mail. He e-mailed me an estimate after I asked him for one. It's almost 8 weeks since the hail storm and about 7 weeks since we first contacted Hampton Exteriors, and the insurance company still has not received an estimate!!! If the company is too busy or doesn't want to do the job, why don't they just tell you up front, so we can get someone else??? Finally, last Friday, we had another company look at the roof. About a week or so after the hail storm, there had been a wind storm and a couple of branches fell on the house, leaving a hole in a shingle and knocking off small pieces of shingle from the edge of the roof. The second roofer said there was hardly any roof damage from the hail storm, but the roof was damaged from the branches. When Joel from Hampton Exteriors came out the second time to measure the roof, he and his son saw this damage also. They took pictures and even covered up the hole that the branches had made. So, what gives??? Why is it so difficult to get 2 supposedly reputable companies to send in an estimate to the insurance company?

I have purchased roof replacements for both commercial and residential properties and I must say this experience was by far the best. They finished the work in a very timely manner and after the work was completed, the only thing left behind was the new roof. Everything from start to finish was first rate. I would highly recommend and use Hampton Exteriors again.

The Insurance adjuster that came out was nervous about the orginal contractor so I cancelled and the next day recieved a letter from Hampton Exteriors saying they would like to come and check for damage and give an estimate, I called and told them I had recieved a check already from the Insurance company and didn't have any more money to add to it. They agreed to come and check the roof and would do the job for the total from the Insurance company! They came over in about an hour! This was on Tues, on Thurs they called and said the dumpster would come on Mon and they would do the roof on Tues and it would only take one day. They would take no money until the job was done!! He even came over on Mon and put saw horses and plywood to cover some special areas around the house that couldn't get trampled on!! It all went as planned and by 12:30 on Tues my roof was on and they were gone! Amazing! Even the neighbors who were watching said they did a fantastic job! I would recommend this company to anyone!! They even went beyond the call of duty and after we got to talking I mentioned I had expanded my rock garden but had to get someone to go to Menards to get the rocks for me. They even did that!! He even spread them all out for me!! I am a retired single woman with a disabled right hand and so this extra mile has totally endeared them to my heart!! They did exactly what they said they would do and explained every step to me and showed me all the paperwork involved and explained each page. Excellent customer service!!!!

The projects were done in the time stated. no stalling or not showing up. on time every time. very personable and answers all questions about projects.

Hampton Exteriors came out same day I called and measured and inspected the roof. Joel was quick to get a bid back to me and explain in details what was involved. I had two other bids, and decided to go with Hampton because they were professional, quick and I felt like they would get the job done. I was correct. They came out the following week and worked from morning until late afternoon, my roof was completed in 2.5 days. They did a great job!!! There were no nails or leftover materials in my yard. They did a great job cleaning everything up and the roof looked fantastic. I would totally recommend these guys again.

Another great experience with Hampton Exteriors. I had storm damage on my cabin which is an hour from the Twin Cities. The crew arrived early morning and completed the work in one day. They did an outstanding job removing the old shingles and replacing with a new roof on the cabin and the shed. They installed an overlay for the gutter system. They yard was cleaned up and everything put in a dumpster. I highly recommend Hamton Exteriors. They completed the job fast and efficiently. They were there to follow up and make sure I was satisfied with the work. I was very satisfied with their bid and the final cost.

I had a great experience with Hampton Exteriors. I had a lot of work done over the span of a few months. The roof was completed in one day and they did a great job. The exterior was completed in a couple of days. The workmanship is excellent, seams are hidden from view and the work done around existing windows is very good. They cleaned up the yard, put up light fixtures when both jobs were complete. The gutter system looks great. He assisted with picking out colors as well and everything looks great. I had alot of interior work done as well. I had two bathrooms redone. They did a very good job installing the vanities and cabinets. They installed new trim in the main level. They also painted various rooms in the house and poured a cement pad for a hot tub. They are fast, efficient and have good follow up. I would highly recommend Hampton Exteriors and I will use them again in the future. They are professional, prompt and follow through on the job.
