We called on a Friday to request an inspection for mice in the house. Man who took call was great - and scheduled a window the next day Saturday 10-12. Terminix never showed up. We waited our entire window, and at 1230 I called. Had to wait about 5 minutes, but rep said they had reached inspector who "was on his way and would be there soon." One hour later, no one was here. I called again. Had to sit on phone quite some time. Rep said, "we have no idea where he is. we can't find but we left a message." She then said "he could me for sure" and to expect his call. She then said she could schedule me again for another day. There was no "hey I am sorry you have not spent from 930-130 waiting for someone on a Saturday" there as no "Hey we will get someone out ASAP" Nothing. The inspector never called and Terminix never bothered to follow up with a call. I recognize perhaps something happened to the inspector. I think the company could at least give us a call. Incredibly bad business practice. The reps we talked to seemed not to care at all whether someone ever came out. We received a recommendation for Terminix from a friend, who does use them yearly, so I recognize they must be able to do decent service, perhaps just inconsistently.

Went south quickly. Five minutes before the appointment I received a call from E.A. said he was on his way and wanted to know what the issue was. I explained that as I told the person making the appointment, I had a red squirrel living in my soffet. His next statement was "Well that will start at $900-$1000." (nice customer service approach) I responded that he had no details and has not even looked at the situation so how can he prove an estimate with no information. His response was "I just don't want to waste my time if you are not interested in the service at that price." I had to get it remedied so I had him come, although a bad taste in my mouth. Suffice it to say that after a cursory walk around, he said he would get back to me probably the next day with a quote. One week later I have heard nothing. So E.A. and Terminix, I don't want to waste your time so save your quote, and any future trips to my house for business I'm going with Orkin.

A long time, and it kept getting expensive, so my husband took over spraying. I really like them, it just got too expensive.

I scheduled an appointment at the end of November. The day of the appointment the provider let me know that she was overbooked. We scheduled for the next day. The next day the provider let me know that she had been in a traffic accident. We scheduled for the following Monday but she never showed up. That Saturday she called to say that she would be out later that day. I cancelled the appointment and found a different exterminator. I also called the 1-800 number and sent an email to provide

I do remember they were pretty highly priced. They were all pricey. I think it's something I could probably do myself. They're efficient. They come when they say they're going to come. They got rid of the pests. Their punctuality was pretty good.

I think the chemical stuff they spray, especially outside, they spray it with abandon. It ends up all over the walls, and it's not like a targeted spray. It works, but it's a messy process.

Considering I have been dealing with them for 30 years I would say it was okay. I keep arguing with them about the price. The company is too big now and you have to call them I'm going to go elsewhere.

We called yesterday evening and set up an appointment for them to come out to our house between 1-5 PM the next day (today). They were going to call us an hour ahead of time to give us a better idea of their arrival. My husband, who gets paid by the hour and has no paid time off, took the day off work to wait for Terminix. Well, the day came and went without any call or service person showing up. I called at 5:15 pm and was told by a guy named Dale that he'd see if he could have someone come out. I asked what happened to the guy who was scheduled to come out... he was kind of beating around the bush so I said, "be straight with me." And Dale told me that our appointment was in the computer, but was never submitted as "confirmed" so we were not put on the schedule. I asked him to see if anyone can come out and he said he'd send my request through to the office. I asked what that meant? He said it means I'll hear back in 2-3 business days. I told Dale that doesn't work when we suspect we could have termites in our home. I asked if there is a field supervisor I could talk to and he said no, but I could talk to his supervisor. I said that was fine and he put me on hold. And I held... and held... and held.... and eventually hung up.
Terminix wasn't rated as high on Angie's List as a few other providers but they seemed to have better hours, so that is why we picked them. I will now be calling one of their competitors.
