First of all, if you hire Bruce to do your snow removal, you'd better
own a good ruler.  If snow fall is 1/16 of an inch below 2 inches he
won't come out to plow.  When it is definitely over 2 inches, he waits
until the snow is finished and then waits a few more hours (or a full
day) before showing up.
The last straw for me was a freakish
April snowstorm that resulted in five inches of snow on my driveway.  I
called him after the majority had fallen to ask when he would be out to
plow and he said, "I usually don't plow this late in the season" and
then finally admitted "I'm out of town."  Seriously.  If you own a snow
removal business and you know a major snowstorm is hitting your
customers, shouldn't you arrange backup or cancel your trip?    Working
with him was a painful experience all winter.
