I called Mavrik Realty and Ann Leviton answered. I told her the type of home I wanted. She asked me very specific questions that helped me describe my circumstances. She advised me to secure pre approved financial information from my lender and could recommend several if I didn't have one yet. I learned that by doing so my offer on a home would proceed more quickly and would be more appealing to the seller as a legitimate offer. This could give me an advantage over other offers. She set up a date right away to meet me in person to get to know me better. She began showing me possibilities through Mavrik's website even before our initial meeting to get a good idea on what was acceptable to me and also the unacceptable. As soon as I found something she set up viewings for me. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a home. When I was ready to make an offer she guided me through the entire process. I should say that what impressed me the most was her impeccable ethics. There was never any question that she was a smart ethical real estate agent. She even gave me sound advice to not over bid on a property and that was in my best interest and not necessarily hers.
