Ken showed up on time and serviced our treadmill as he predicted. He had a breath of knowledge of treadmills and was able to diagnose and service quickly. He took the time to give us tips on how to keep our machine in working order and not have repairs again. I would highly recommend him.

I purchased a Nordictrack tread mill from a couple, brought it home, set it up and it would not work. I tried two different outlets. I called Sears where it was originally purchased and after several phone calls find out they do not do any service work on Nordictrack even though they say they do at time of purchase.
I finally found Ken Lauren Service Company on the internet and called Ken. It was after 6:00 P.M. and I was worried he was closed only to be told not to worry he was there for me. I wanted to know what a service call would cost only for him to ask me questions about my problem and he walked me through it over the phone. Super friendly and I will recommend his company to everyone. He was so considerate and kind. What a better world this would be if we had more Ken's in it.
I will use him again in a minute. Fantastic!

The appointment achieved all of our objectives which was to either repair our treadmill to workable condition or discover that it was beyond repair and required replacement. Our treadmill now works beautifully.

Ken called before he came for the appointment to confirm. He arrived on time and asked questions to better assess the problems we were having with the treadmill. Ken was very professional, clean, and completed the service. We only needed the two belts adjusted and the treadmill oiled. Ken recommended an easy way to oil the machine ourselves on a yearly basis to keep it in great shape and for the machine to last longer. I will definitely use Ken again in the future. Thank you!!!!

It went very well. Ken removed the circuit board. He gave me the option of his handling trying to get the board fixed, hopefully avoiding a full replacement. Or, he offered to make a few calls and refer me to a service provider who could handle trying to do this repair. He called me today with a referral. We're hoping to get it fixed for $75. Given that a new board costs $300, I'm very pleased.

I called Ken and he thought he knew what it was right away, he thought the motor controller board was bad, and that he might even have the right part in stock. He came out, it was the motor controller (fried big time), but the parts he stocked were not compatible. A new part had to be ordered.
He left and called me back with two options, I could get it direct from manufacturer, or Treadmill Doctor for $10 cheaper. I could order it myself, or he could get it and bill me. I ordered the part, after it arrived and I called and had Ken come back out. I thought about the part in myself, but Ken also was going to clean the unit and lubricate the belt, and give me tips on how to care for it.
The repair was completed, and I was happy with the service. I gave a B on price, because other providers I called did not charge for a return trip if they didn't have parts, and Ken charged $55. Both service calls and labor came to $163, and I paid $210 for the part. I thought I got a good value on it, and Ken had good insight and advice on the our 7 year old treadmill (its in great shape!).

It took longer than expected to take care of the issue for reasons completely out of Ken's control. It required him to make a lot of calls (Treadmill Doctor was the pacing element) and was more involved than a normal repair. I appreciated Ken's diligence throughout the ordeal. I would recommend Ken highly if you need fitness equipment repaired.

When I first called Ken, I was able to reach him immediately and he quickly attempted to diagnose our problem by phone and come up with the right solution, proving he was very knowlegeable. Becuase of the odd and unpredictible nature of our treadmill's problem, Ken had to come out to the house. He quickly diagnosed the problem as one that required an entire replacement of our boad that drives all functions of the treadmill. He suggested that we reach out to the manufacturer and coached us on how to get the best (and cheapest) response from the manufacturer. He came out, spent the time with us, and gave us these suggestions at no charge. Although there wasn't anything Ken could do for us at the time, I would absolutely hire him, if the opportunity arises.

Good service, fixed the problem, less than Treadmill Medic (the national competition).

HE HAS BEEN DOING IT FOR OVER TEN YEARS AND WORKS FOR INDIVIDUALS AS WELL AS WARRANTY WORK FOR MANUFACTURES. I FOUND HIM IN THE PHONE BOOK WHEN MY SEARS NORDICTRACK TREADMILL NEEDED REPAIR. HE CAME TO THE HOUSE AND WITHIN AN HOUR HAD IT WORKING AGAIN. HE CHARGED ME $69.50. HE SEEMED TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HONEST. PROMPT, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FAIRLY PRICED
