 + -1 moreThese classes have been great! Mike Mason, our instructor and owner of the glass studio, has decades of experience. He is very patient and kind, and a fun person to work with. This is not a formal class, but a low-stress class where you work at your own pace and ask Mike for help and direction as needed. There are students of all abilities attending these classes, so you benefit from their knowledge and I have found them to be very supportive. When it's time to choose your glass and supplies, Sleepy Eye Stained Glass has an amazing variety of colors and textures of glass from all over the world.
Description of Work: Sleepy Eye Stained glass offers stained glass classes on weekday evenings. I have been taking these classes once per week for approximately the last six weeks. You can buy a punch card and take ten 3-hour classes for just $45.00, and I also purchased a beginner's tool kit for $55.00. Sleepy Eye Stained glass supplies workbenches, electricity, and all the bigger, more expensive equipment. Then I just pay for my glass, solder, foil, etc. They also produce stained glass windows and other items, sell stained glass supplies, and do stained glass window restoration.
