MINNESOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL

This review is for Dr. Freed though it applies to all of the vets and staff. All have been excellent and compassionate for the 10 or so years my dogs have been going to the MN Vet Hospital. The manager, Jeff, is pleasant as well. I chose MN Vet as their location is close to my house in addition to having had good reviews.

Excellent! Dr. Freed took such great care of my very sick dog, who had very poor care at another vet clinic. She gave our dog careful attention and brought him back to health. We get the best care for both of our dogs at MN Veterinary Hospital now and would not go anywhere else for their care. They are top notch and an AAHA certified, which makes their animal care superior to clinics without this certification. I found out the difference after looking for a good vet after my dog almost died under the previous care at an uncertified clinic. The costs at MN Veterinary Clinic are also much better than my previous clinic.

They're perfectly fine. I go there, I get the food. I originally went there because my cat had a skin condition. It was kind of an on-going thing and the vet that I was using was farther away. If he's going to have a chronic condition, I need to find a vet that was closer. One of the vets actually had some experience with skin stuff and put him on some medication that was non-steroid. It was a good switch. I have been going there since as  regular vet and that was a couple of years ago. I think they're really a friendly crew. When I first went there, I thought there was a little bit more of a pet smell but they cleaned that up. I can't see that they're more friendly than any other vet. They're a fine vet. There's nothing that was totally outstanding. I like the other vet but this one is more convenient. I think the pricing is just standard. I don't think they're over-priced. They report the results right away. They're punctual. When you come in, they'll help you out right away.

They charged $56 for 8-hour day for boarding for two dogs. They are very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. The vets and the staff are very well trained and they are very knowledgeable about pets. They are really empathetic.

They suggested more services than I felt was needed, however, I do feel they are very professional and knowledgeable. I consulted my regular vet for a second opinion over the phone, and he said that she should be fine in a month - and she was!

. I had actually started with another veterinarian and on a Saturday my dog had an emergency and it turned out to be a ground wasp bite. I called this veterinarian and he said that he did not have the time to see us. So I called the MINNESOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL. Her first response was that they are booked. But, she took the time to ask what the problem was. I told her and she responded that she would make the time to see him. So I switched my veterinarian. I was not a patient of theirs at that time. The clinic that he was a patient with did not have the time to see him. Whereas this clinic said that they are booked but when they heard what the issue was made sure that he was taken in. I have not had enough experience with them at this point to say to somebody that I really recommend MINNESOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL but if somebody said to me if MINNESOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL is okay I would definitely agree with them. There is a differentiation for me there. I don't have enough experience with them at this point of time where I have had other than the wasp bite, where I have had something that is so earth shattering that I would be able to say that they provided the care for my animal that I expect. Care is something more than what I consider routine or out of ordinary. There is one doctor there that I am particularly found of and probably if I recommend that clinic I would recommend that particular doctor. Basically I know other veterinarians in town that are good because I work with animal rescue groups and I kind of know who are the good vets. I have not been with MINNESOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL for that long. I have been using them from last August/ September. However I would recommend Dr. McCargar. The rest of them I am not sure about. My experience with Dr. McCargar has been good.Tthe office staff is excellent. There is some history for me there that has probably has nothing to do with the current situation. As you know it is sometimes difficult to discard history. At this point I will continue to use them in the future.

The service was good, they seemed very happy to have my business and they treated the puppy very well. This is my first visit and I was happy with the people. I will update more as time and the relationship continues.

They are friendly. My visit went fine with them.
