All of the providers that showed up to do the work did the work as expected and all were very nice.  The professional that did the final walk through with me was thorough and I felt confident in the quality of the product.

We had had enough of our power going out, so we bit the bullet and put in a whole-house system. It was costly, but worth it. Allied came out, gave us an estimate, and installed it about three weeks later. They were busy because this was right after last summer's big storm. Ours was more costly than most because our gas line was at the other side of our house, so the plumber had to run the line across the house in a finished basement. They were professional, friendly, and answered all of our questions. All of the contractors showed up when they were scheduled. We would definitely recommend them.

They provided absolute top-notch service and we could not be happier with the work.

This is the second time I have used Allied Generator. They have done exactly what they said they would do. They have been proactive in responding to issues (a lightening strike near by) based on their continually monitoring of the generator performance. They are competatively priced; they are professional, competent in their installation, and they communicate well.They provide a wireless monitoring service; annual maintenance; and responsive service.
I may sound like a friend or relative, but I am just a satisfied customer.

I ordered an Eaton standby generator from Allied Generators working with their sales manager, Roger Heath.  Despite some glitches with Xcel Energy regarding the gas line, and a miscommunication with the electrical inspector, I was extremely pleased with Roger and the company.  They kept in touch with me, worked promptly with Xcel and the inspector to resolve the problems (which were not Allied's fault!) over a period of a couple of months. The Allied folks, which included a plumber and an electrician, were all knowledgeable, professional, and showed up promptly.  I was happy with the whole process.
I had also received some bids from a couple of electricians, and I shudder to think of the problems I would have had should I have taken their bids.  Installation of one of these generators requires some specialized knowlege unique to the generator, and had I gone with a non-specialist, I am afraid I would be engaged in a long fight over who did not do what correctly.
I haven't actually used the generator yet because there have been no power outages, but it did test out perfectly.  I am assuming it will work correctly and I will have no reason to regret this glowing review.

The people at Allied were very professional and they set forth in advance the possible problems and costs.  They started replacing the most likely problem parts and continued until the unit was running.  Because parts needed to be ordered, there were multiple appointment; and the people at Allied were always on time.

They responded promptly for the bid request. They offered options and recommendations. They took full responsibility including arranging for an upgraded gas meter. They were very good at communicating at each step along the way. They were responsive to our scheduling needs. They did exactly what they said they would do. The electrician was very conscience and thoughtful in his approach. They explained the operations very clearly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a generator.

ROGER FACILITATED AN OVERNIGHT DROP SHIPMENT FROM THE FACTORY OF AN EXACT REPLACEMENT CHARGER. THE UNIT ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY AND I EASILY INSTALLED IT (AS NO MODIFICATIONS WERE NECESSARY BEING THE EXACT REPLACEMENT). OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM ALLIED AND KATOLIGHT!

THESE PEOPLE ARE A JOY TO WORK WITH. ALLIED IS NOT A HUGE COMPANY BUT THEY HAVE THE PRODUCTS, TECHNICIANS, AND CAPABILITY TO DO BOTH COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL GENERATOR INSTALLATIONS. GARY DESIGNED THE SYSTEM (SELECTING FROM SEVERAL MANUFACTURERS), ROGER MANAGED THE PROJECT (CONCRETE TO GAS TO CITY INSPECTIONS), JEFF AND ALAN WERE THE ELECTRICIANS ON SITE (WIRING, TRANSFER SWITCH INSTALLATION, AND XCEL WORK). THEIR WORKMANSHIP IS FIRST RATE AND THE SUBCONTRACTORS (NATURAL GAS PIPING) WERE RESPONSIVE AND EASY TO WORK WITH. ALLIED PROVIDES A GOOD MIX OF CAPABILITY WITH SMALL COMPANY PERSONALIZED SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN.
