A Message From The Owner Hello, I'm Justin Moe. My father and I founded All Ways Drains over 14 years ago. Now, my wife, Amy, and I run the company. We like the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We grew up here so it's home to us. We're proud to contribute to our community by volunteering with the organization, Feed My Starving Children, and a new Salvation Army facility for homeless veterans. "Hi [Member Name Removed], I am very concerned that you feel like you were ripped off. Can you please forward me a copy of the quote that you were given? I believe that you may have misunderstood our receptionist when she was providing you with our hourly rate and that we have a 1.5 hour minimum charge. Our GPS records show that the plumbers arrived at your house at 9:10 AM. It appears that it had also snowed early that morning, which I believe caused the delay in getting to your home (please understand that safe driving and safety in general comes first). The plumbers could not have come to your house with everything they possibly needed because they had never seen the job before and did not know for sure what would be needed. Our scheduling calendar indicates that this was the only appointment made with us. Our GPS records show that the plumbers left your home at 9:32 AM to get the materials that were needed for the job and shows that they were back at your home at 10:15 AM. The entire job took 2.25 hours. You were billed from 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM. Despite having 2 licensed plumbers at your house you were only billed for 1 plumber and 1 helper (which is a much cheaper rate). Looking at the invoice it also appears that you were given a $67.50 discount on top of this as well. With the reduced rate that was charged and the discount you were given this is a total discount of $225.00. I can not verify or deny the accuracy of what prices your husband seen at Menards or even if they were the same materials (type of copper pipe etc.) because I was not with him. From what I can gather from the invoice I honestly believe that you likely can not find a fully licensed, insured and bonded plumbing company (please note I said company not a 1 man operation) in the Twin Cities area to do this job any cheaper. I can think of 5 other plumbing companies off the top of my head that likely would have charged 2x - 5x the amount of this invoice. I want you to understand that you were not ripped off and that we care about what our customers think but I honestly do not believe that you were ripped off in any way shape or form. In fact it appears that you were charged a more than fair price for the work that was professionally completed. Respectfully, Justin"

In addition to the piping work that now needed to be completed - it was determined that because of the prior incorrect installation - the lines from the bath to the main line were totally filled with tree roots. During a meal break for the installers, a third crew member came in to clean out the line and confirm that the main was also clean all the way to the city line in the street.
What should have been a small 2 hr project expanded into an 8+ hour job which Brian and crew stayed on until finished late that evening. This allowed the next step in the rehab to begin the following day as originally scheduled.
When completed, all the drain and vent lines in the space as well as a portion of the line from the adjoining laundry room was replaced and reset in the proper position. The guys were pleasant to work with and kept on the job despite the much larger than expected scope and longer time frame.
I will certainly call this team/company again for any future plumbing needs.

The next day, we noticed that the drain stopper in the tub wasn't working any more and informed them that it had been working before they came. The plumber came out within a day and fixed the issue, free of charge, within a day. Great guys to work with! Their good rating on Angie's List is well deserved.
