General Remodeling
We trusted Thane. We paid him a lot of money up front to finish our basement. It turns out he is a liar and a thief. After he got our money he spent it on his own personal debt and left us with a half-finished basement. We had to spend more money to hire someone else to finish the project for us. We have a Scott County Conciliation Court judgment against Thane for the maximum amount that MN Conciliation Court will allow. We proved to the Judge that he swindled us out of just under $12,000, and we easily won the maximum judgment for $7,500.00 plus court filing fees. We are now entering into the collections process. We took out loans for our basement project, so that means we are still paying interest on the money that he stole from us.
