"Thanks for your business, [Member Name Removed]. Don't forget that Chaska utilities offers a $25 rebate if you have your a/c serviced. If you qualify for that and use our $89.99 Spring A/C Clean and Check coupon we have at [Hyperlink Removed] it is a really good deal. There is a form to fill out on [Hyperlink Removed] under rebates."
"Thanks for the opportunity. I am glad you like the comfort improvement that the new furnace has done for your home. I think you are going to find that even with an older air conditioner, your new furnace will make some nice improvements in the cooling season as well. It was also nice to learn about Bee colonies. I hope this winter is gentle on your last colony. Thanks again, Scott w/Ron's Mech"
my opinion was experience was terrible. Everyone makes mistakes but its how you handle the issue when they occur. My opinion it displays good customer service. I asked them to get the facts and they said its unethical to contact another contractor even when that other contractor wanted to explain it to them. The small repair now cost me 975.00+ 320.00 originally.
"It is unfortunate that you were not satisfied with our service. I think our A rating and the multiple Super Service Awards from Angie's List goes to show that service is number one to us. I think the end of our last conversation was you wanting us to pay you money or you would "pursue other avenues" (actual words used in 12-10-2015 email). And yes I think it is unethical for me to contact another service provider over a service dispute between us. If you are unhappy with our service from a almost year ago not sure what the other company has to do with it. There is nothing I could do to right your issue except pay you so for that I am sorry."
"Thanks for the opportunity to earn your business. Well it is that time of year again for furnace clean and checks. If you were going to have yours serviced again this fall keep an eye out in the mail for a customer special. I think they will be going out in the next 2 weeks."
"My records show that we hooked up this range June of 2003. Because it is 11+ years I don't have any of the original notes only the date and the brief description. It is unfortunate that you had this experience and wish I somehow could show you that this was a very unusual situation. We have been in business for 32+ years and customer service is a big part of what we do. If there is anything I can do to ease your mind after 11 years please contact me. This is not how we like to do business and unfortunately I cannot review notes and details from this job. Scott w/Ron's Mechanical"
In the past year I've come to appreciate the pleated air filters that they sell, which stand up incredibly well and are priced under $5/filter.
I had many good experiences with Ron's Mechanical and I have heard good things about the company from others. Maybe this was just a bad day but I do intend on taking my business elsewhere from here on.
"We do appreciate your past business and it is unfortunate that you were dissatisfied with this last service call and feel the need to find a new HVAC company. Your comments are truthful and thank you for that. There is many aspects of our conversation we had that were left out and this is not the forum to address them. I hope you find another provider that continues to provide the service you have known to get from us. We have been in business for 32+ years and we will continue to try to offer a great service at a fair price. Social Media, including Angie's List, is a great resource for homeowners to get information about who they will be allowing into their home. I am not going into the specifics of our conversation but I will continue to say we do have a minimum service fee and try to keep it as reasonable as possible. It hasn't changed in well over a decade and you said you knew the $85 was our minimum call during our discussion. I wasn't going to adjust our minimum service call because I felt it was fair and just even after your threat of going on Angie's List if I didn't adjust down the $35. You have every right to do that but I also have the right to not want to do business like that that and don't care to have a customer base that feels they can try to use that type of tactic to get a discounted price. I also thank you for being honest because you said you could have called and just complained about the service to get a discount but you didn't. I am sorry you feel the need to find another HVAC provider but I am also glad that we have set the bar nice and high for the service you will be expecting from them. For what it is worth, if we can assist you in the future please contact us and we will continue to provide the service you have come to like but we will still have a minimum service call."
