FIRST THEY WERE A NO SHOW ON THE STATED START DATE. HE NEVER DID CALL TO LET US KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD BE THERE. DID A TERRIBLE, SPOTTY JOB POWERWASHING, MISSED A WHOLE DOOR AND BACK RAIL. THE OWNER NEVER RETURNED PHONE CALLS AFTER MANY MESSAGES. HE JUST 'SHOWED UP' ANOTHER DAY. THE ATTEMPT TO DO THE STEPS AND FRONT WAS VERY UNSATISFACTORY, THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY CROOKED AND WORK WAS NOT COMPLETED TO OUR SATISFACTION. OF COURSE HE NEVER RETURNED PHONE CALLS. WE FIRED HIM. HE IS A VERY NICE GUY, APPEARS TO WANT TO DO A GOOD JOB, BUT THIS IS VERY DECEIVING. EARLY ON WHEN WE GOT A FEELING HE WAS NOT GOING TO FOLLOW THRU WITH THE WORK WE EVEN GAVE HIM THE OPTION OF NOT DOING THE WORK. HE FELT HE COULD ACCOMPLISH THIS. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY JOB. MAYBE HE IS OVER EXTENDED BUT THAT MAKES CUSTOMERS VERY UNHAPPY TOO!!
Description of Work: WE GOT A BID OF ABOUT $1200 TO ADD TWO SIMPLE SETS OF STEPS, REFINISH THE FRONT WITH WOOD SLATS (ABOUT 10 FEET BY 2.5 FEET), POWERWASH, SAND AND RESTAIN OUR DECK.
