We have hired this company twice, once to clean mattresses that had been in storage and the second time to clean all the carpeting in our house. Both times were excellent experiences. Very polite, punctual and outstanding results. We paid about $250 for one king mattress and one queen matress plus the box springs to be cleaned and about $500 for about 1800 square feet of carpet plus a rug and a flight of stairs to be cleaned.

I have used this company on 2 different occasions and was extremely satisfied with both. The carpets came out perfect!! Stains the other company had left White Glove was able to get out with no problem! I had our dryer vent cleaned and our air vents and the air is noticeably cleaner. There was dust that had collected in all of our vent covers and they cleaned it out for me along with our furnace. The employees and owner are professional and courteous. They go the extra mile by placing your furniture on styrofoam blocks so legs don't get wet from carpet cleaning. They wear booties when walking around on the carpets too! I will be using them again and highly recommend them to everyone.

I told them they had to come back out and that never happened. That kind of ticked me off big time because I have used them for quite a while. I understand why he did not come back because he went in the hospital. There was a reason he did not come back but then it kind of just got dropped so I quit calling. It was ridiculous. After three months, it was like, really? I used them before because they were very good. This time they weren't. I asked the guy why they were not doing the edges and he told me if he pushed too hard on the edges my carpet would come up.  I asked why because I have never had anybody not do the edges of my carpet. They also tried to see me carpet, but I did not get any carpet. The price was average. The carpet is still dirty. I can't blame the company because I have used the company for many years. It was just the guy. But then no one came back out to redo it and when he was going to come back out the guy had a heart attack. Punctuality was good. He was good except telling me to clean my own edges.

OK, in my opinion, skip all the "deals" and just call White Glove. I have used them several times and have ALWAYS been satisfied with the excellent work! I did, however, use a Living Social "deal" [different company] for a cheaper rate, but, ended up telling that guy to leave as he pulled the old bait and switch on me. I immediately called White Glove and Mike came out in two days! OK, you know you've already pulled up all your furniture and you pretty much want it done ASAP for that reason alone. As usual, Mike came in, assessed the job and got right to it. He did NOT, like the "other" company, use scare tactics, jack the price up because of "special" areas OR, after attempting to do that, tell me I could wait until we "got our tax refund back" to be able to pay for it! Mike pointed out the stained areas and did his best on them. The carpets looked GREAT when he finished! As a matter of fact, he was late getting to my house [he called to tell me]as the lady he had been to before was so impressed with what he had done, she asked him to do a little extra work! We had had some remodeling done and I was debating whether to just pull up the carpets anyway, but, like the other lady, I was so impressed with the work done, I think I'll hang on to them a while longer! SO, if you want your carpeting done right the FIRST time, call White Glove; you won't be sorry!

He chipped a piece of flooring. His assistant pulled the staples out of the skirt on the couch. He up sold for a special enzyme treatment and I took this, my bad.... For $100.00. He automatically used scotch guard which we didn't want. Then he added up the bill wrong and overcharged me $ 80 .00! I called 3 times and emailed twice he said the check is in the mail.... That was 3 months ago.

I first used White Glove Cleaning when I found a Groupon or Living Social Deal (sorry, can't remember which one).  It was for a 3 hour housecleaning and the service I got was awesome.  Since then I have used them two more times with no complaints.
I would definitely recommend this company for housecleaning!

I called to make our second appointment and spoke with Joe who put me on
hold right away for about 10 minutes. When he returned we made the
appointment and I was informed by him that we would be receiving a phone
call from the technicians around 8am to give us a accurate time as to
their arrival. When deciding on areas to clean he told me he would put
us down for the 3 room special we had a coupon for and I agreed. He then
told me to hold again, which I was surprised because we had already
confirmed and wasn't sure why I was being out on hold. I waited again
for at least 10 minutes and then decided to hang up since we had already
confirmed. I didn't understand why I was being put on hold for so long.
The day of our appointment we did not receive a confirmation phone call
in the morning like I was told and when we called my husband was told
that the appointment was never confirmed. He also was told that the day I
attempted to make the appointment that I informed Joe that I was
checking into if that appointment was going to work and going call him
back to confirm, which NEVER happened. I did not say such a thing.
When I called back to see what had occurred I was told by Joe that I had
hung up before the appointment was confirmed. I informed him that I had
thought that we had already confirmed, but that he had put me on hold
twice and had me on the line waiting for 10 minutes each time. He then
informed me, "Well when people are put on hold they are suppose to stay
on hold and not hang up!". When I had enough of his unprofessional and
angry tone he was using to speak to me I asked him to take me off of any
contact list that they have and he informed me quite rudely that, "You
aren't on any call list, goodbye!" then hung up the phone on me.
I would say that the work the gentlemen performed when they came was
awesome, but am left with quite a sour feeling after dealing with this
Joe over the phone and being treated as if I was a liar and not a valued
customer. This is a great deal for carpet cleaning, but not worth the
headache this Joe gave me. Its a shame they have someone working their
appointment line who represents their company in such a unprofessional
manner.

"Member, I'm very sorry. Joe was the only one in the office that day and all 3 lines were ringing. His last day is Friday the 28th. Since the carpets came out great and you want to use us again I will put a 50.00 credit on your account. Feel free to use that towards any service. The carpet on my steps was so filthy and dirty, but they got the steps looking like new. They did an amazing job. I have had other companies clean these steps before, and these guys cleaned them much better. They did a superior job. They will be the only ones I will use to clean my carpets. Their price is not more expensive than others, but their service rocks. Their people were really nice on the phone. They were spectacular. I give them a high recommendation because they were so good.

I thought the Groupon was for carpet cleaning but it was actually for housecleaning.  They let me use the money I spent on the Groupon towards carpet cleaning.  The outcome looks great and they were very accommodating.

May 08, 2012.

The owner contacted me after hearing from Angie's List.  I need to make a correction;  It was not a Living Social deal;  it was a Twin Cities Daily Deal that I had purchased.  Sorry, Living Social!

Although the owner and I disagree on what was said and promised, he refunded the tax portion and part of the added charges for a total of $25.00.  I told him I would change the ratings.  I tried to change the rating to "C's" a few days ago, but ran into some technical problems on the page of how to do that.  I hope it works this time.

I still stand by what I reported with the exception of the wrong deal purchased.  I am thankful to Angie's List for their assistance with this matter.  I am happy to be a member.  This was my first poor evalation of any service we have received from using Angie's List..

I had this company come out to my house before the holidays and cannot say enough about how great of a job they did...and for a very reasonable price.  After getting my carpets cleaned once a year, I heard their ad on the radio, was curious, and was able to get 3 rooms of carpet cleaned and my stairs. As I watched the technicians (Mike and Matt I believe) do their magic, I was thoroughly impressed with the close attention to detail.  They even wear booties on their shoes when cleaning and raised my furniture on little foam bricks to protect my furntiture.  Not to mention, the house smells fresh weeks after!  Will definitely be going back to them!

I had a groupon for them. They did excellent. The guy was really conscientious and good. He did a very good job. He explained everything and did an excellent job. He didn't try to upsell too much, which I appreciated because I wasn't interested. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

It wasn't the best experience - however, they did do a very good job cleaning the couch.  I wasn't too happy with their pricing and sales tactics.

Sales Tactics - I purchased a Groupon for them so that is why I used them.  When the guy arrived, he didn't know I had a Groupon.  My couch was technically a sectional but it isn't really one.  He said he would charge me the lower charge which is for a non-sectional.  He did a LOT of up-selling for their other services which was a bit uncomfortable.  I told him I didn't want any for their scotch guard or fragrances because of the chemicals and he kept trying to convince me that it was all natural.   We agreed on the price and then I pulled out my Groupon.  He said that was fine and went on his way cleaning the couch.

Quality - the quality of the clean was VERY good.  They got out all the stains and left the couch in MUCH better shape than when they arrived.  I had to dry the cushions out for a number of hours but that was expected.

Pricing - At the end of the clean, he started to show me the bill.  He changed the price of the clean on me because of the Groupon - even though he previously told me he was going to charge me less than the sectional price.  It was very frustrating for him to change like that just because I had a Groupon.  They also have an "Environmental Waste Fee"  for $25 that I didn't know about.  Luckily they hadn't told me about it in our email correspondences so I didn't pay it.

Bottom line is I didn't get a good overall feeling from them based on the up-selling, changing prices after the work was done and hidden fees.  I understand they are a business and want to maximize profits but I don't think it's a good way to treat the customer.  I think I will try and find another service first before calling them back - which means they are maximizing profits in the short run but not overall by driving me away as a customer.

Purchased a three hour housecleaning voucher from Groupon. In May, when I called to set up an appointment, they told me they were booked solid and that I should call back in June. When I called back in June they couldnt fit me in until August! Even with the increased business from Groupon, this seemed like an excessive time to wait. When I've had my house cleaned before, other cleaning services have been able to clean my house in three hours with no problem. When the White Glove folks said they wouldn't be able to mop my hardwood floors within the three hour window, I felt like they were trying to upsell additional cleaning time. In addition, the work they did do was spotty and mediocre.

I purchased a Groupon good for three hours of cleaning services.  During that time only two bathrooms and the floors were cleaned.  The stairs were not touched, nothing was dusted and the bathtubs had a white residue left in them.  None of the furniture was swept under and the small kitchen rug was not moved before the floors were done.  The girls were friendly but the overall quality and quantity of the cleaning was lacking and I would not be willing to purchase their services for the regular price of $135.

Bought a Groupon for $59 for 3 hours of housecleaning.  The housecleaning they did was not very thorough, but I wasn?t expecting much with 2 people for an hour and a half, especially after reading bad reviews about White Glove on the Groupon website. It amounted to a very light quick once-over of the house. They didn?t seem to clean the sink in one of the two bathrooms at all, left streaky residue on furniture, and just didn?t clean too deeply. When I asked if they were going to vacuum the carpet in one room, they said they didn?t have a vacuum cleaner. But the house smelled clean after they left, at least.

The whole operation of the business really turned me off. When I initially called to schedule, they were booked out a long ways, which was understandable because they sold a lot of the Groupons. I scheduled an appointment for a month later, and they never called me back to verify my appointment, and when I called back I found that I hadn?t gotten scheduled, so had to reschedule for another month later. Then got a message a few days prior to my appointment saying that I?d have to pay $10 fuel surcharge plus $10.50 tax. The Groupon said 20 miles from 55125, and I?m within 20 driving miles of that zip code. But they measure from their address, which the groupon doesn?t list. When I questioned this, she pulled it up on google maps and said it would be $2 mileage. No explanation for why she wanted to charge me $10 and now it was $2. I shouldn?t have had to pay any mileage but didn?t argue about $2.

I've used other housecleaning services that I've found on Angie's List that I've been extremely happy with.  Even at the discount rate that I got, White Glove wasn't worth the cost.  I won't be using them again.

My experience with White Glove Cleaning was not a positive one. When I called to schedule the cleaning (during the second week of February) I was informed that the first opening they had was Tuesday, March 8th. I figured this long delay of when they would be available to do the cleaning was due to the Groupon and all the new customers they had coming to them. With that reasoning, I was fine scheduling my appointment for the first time available - the morning of Tuesday, March 8th. I was told when I made the appointment that they would contact me the day before my appointment to tell me when the cleaning team would arrive and asked me to provide my address and phone number where I could be reached, which I gave them. I did not hear from them the day before the scheduled cleaning so at 8:30 on Tuesday morning, I called White Glove directly to inquire as to when they would be arriving. They indicated that they did not have a phone number for me (which was odd since I had provided it when I made the appointment), but that Tammy was scheduled on my cleaning team and would be calling me shortly to indicate when they would arrive. Within in 10 minutes I received a call from a gentleman (I forget his name and it's not listed on the invoice they left with me), saying that he didn't have a number for me, but would be at my home in 5 minutes to complete the cleaning. The cleaning team arrived around 8:40 am and first told me that the three hour cleaning was actually an hour and a half because it is done by 2 people. Which made sense, but was not listed as such on the Groupon (even in their fine print - that I could find) so it felt a little like I had been cheated. They then stated that due to the size of our house I needed to indicate which rooms I wanted to have cleaned in the hour and a half. I provided an overview of what I needed done and they set to work. They completed a cleaning of 3 bathrooms, our kitchen, dining room (including hardwood floors) and our foyer. The team of 2 gentlemen worked very quickly and were so quick that they came to me with half an hour left on my 1 and 1/2 hour cleaning time indicating that they were done with the rooms I listed and what else could they do. I then asked them to vacuum the downstairs and dust our wet bar. After they left, I walked through the foyer, kitchen, and dining room and was very disappointed in the quality of the work. The stove top in our kitchen had not been touched in any way. Both the outside and inside of our built in microwave oven in our kitchen was still dirty. All of our stainless steel appliances in our kitchen had not been touched and were still covered in fingerprints. The bathrooms had just been surface cleaned - at best (which I guess makes sense since they were able to clean 3 of them in an hour). The quality of this cleaning was in no way worth the money I spent on the Groupon (even with the discounted rate this quality was a disappointment) or the time I spent prepping the house to get it ready for them to clean, and then waiting for them to arrive. Overall, I will never use them again and was glad that I had tried them only with a Groupon because the cleaning they completed was very subpar. It was a very disappointing experience.

White Glove sent a 2 man team to steam clean living and dining area carpets. They were extremely polite, protected the entryway well, did not bang into walls or do any "collateral damage" and left the white carpets immaculate. The only downside was that they called in the morning with an ETA, and had to call twice more, pushing the arrival time back, finally by 2 hours. I appreciated the calls, but was glad I was not on a tight schedule that day!

We have used several other local and national-name carpet cleaners and White Glove beat them all by a mile. White Glove was on top of things from the moment we made the appointment. They called the day before to remind us they were coming the next day. The morning of the scheduled cleaning, Mike called and gave us a 1-hour window of time when they would arrive. They came exactly on schedule and got right to work. Both Mike and Josh worked very hard and showed extra care with our furniture and carpets. They asked lots of questions about individual stains and pre-treated accordingly. When they were done, they hand-wiped up any water on adjoining hardwood floors and trim boards. Our 8-year old carpets have never looked better!

I bought a Groupon with this company and they were just fantastic. The carpet looked horrible when he got here and wonderful when he left. This is a small, local company, and the owner did the work himself. They are very eager to please and have fabulous equipment.
