WASTE MANAGEMENT

For nearly two months now, Waste Management has failed to pick up my trash on the scheduled day. They are some times one day, or two days, or three days late. One week they did not pick up at all. Some times they will pick up from one side of the street but not the other. It makes no sense; why not pick up both sides of the street while you are here? They blame it all on the weather. That excuse is unacceptable. The other haulers can get out in rain and sleet and snow, why can't WM? I have to get out and go to my job 5 days a week no matter the weather, why doesn't WM? I have checked their ratings online, and I see that WM has a dozen law suits filed against them. They should be put out of business.

After being a customer for 20...I have to say it is time to be done with these people. In the last two weeks they have dumped my yard waste, along with the can, into the street, looked at it and sped off. Creating a work order for cleanup is a waste of time as they don't show up. Likewise they failed to pick a special request (bed/mattress) on their scheduled date and showed up on the weekend after we had moved it back into the garage...they obviously dont believe in contacting the customer or being held to any service time expectations. Email and calls to customer service are a black hole. They are more expensive and they provide little of any reason to choose them over their competitors. (Note: I believe our contractor is the Blaine office)

The receptacle did not arrive until Nov.4th. I received the first "prorated" bill for one month's service and was billed $91.45. This bill included a "setup" fee of $40.00 plus full quarterly charges for fuel, Mn state solid waste tax and County and Environmental charges. The total for one months service coming to $91.45. I was quoted monthly service at $20.69 and was never told that there was a set up fee. My trash was out at the curb last night and they did not pick up this morning. Everything that the agents stated was a false representation of our brief contact. When I called regarding the invoice, I was told that they could not prorate the fees. I requested that since they would not honor the quote that I had been given then I was terminating service immediately. They informed me that it would take up to 5 days for the can to be picked up. I told them that I didn't want the can sitting in front of my house for 5 days and to get it out of here.  I have documented the can currently sitting in front of my house just in case some other false information is recorded.  I was told that I would be billed for the can until it was picked up. Do not use this service.
