VINGE TILE & STONE

Powder room was fine. Kitchen backsplash had a couple problems with grout and tile cuts at the point where the backsplash stopped and transitioned to bare wall, but these issues were corrected by Vinge. Shower walls and floor were O.K. Master bath floor (the most expensive and important part of the project) was poorly done. We fully understand that natural stone has color variation, but Vinge installed a couple significantly discolored (pinkish) tiles in the middle of our white marble floor. There were plenty of extra non discolored tiles Vinge could have used. In general, the tile was not neatly, squarely installed. The floor was not properly sealed. Only after repeated complaints did Vinge agree to reseal the floor and replace two miscolored tiles. However, they would not warrant the in floor heat if they replaced the tiles, and made it sound probable they would cut the electrical wiring in the floor if they replaced the tiles. So, we are stuck with the miscolored tiles.

They were always on time, always cleaned up after each working day, and kept us informed of each day's progress. I would definitely have them return for any additional tile needs we may have in the future. The utmost in professionalism, from those answering the phones to the owner.
