 + -1 moreI researched my bike purchase on the internet and with visits to different shops all over the southern metro. I narrowed my choices to 3 models. Valley bike and ski had 2 of the 3 in stock. They allowed me to test ride both models. Jeff and Steve spend at least an hour answering my questions. I was amazed how much patience they showed. I ended up purchasing my bike through valley. They were very knowledgeable on the product the carry and made the purchase enjoyable. I have since taken the bike back for minor tuning. It was completed in one day. Great turn around time.

 + -1 moreAwful There was no professional assistance in determining how to sell my bicycle (which is new). The Valley person walked over and spent the firts 15 minutes of the converrsation reminding us how pedestrian our 2 (new) bikes were. After a week I recieved a call and was told to pick up the bike or it would be "donated". If you only have "custody" you cannot donate, damage or lose property that you do not have ownership over.
Description of Work: Valley Bike and Ski ws holding a bicycle sale for the purpose of encouraging customers to upgrade and/or make puchases based on cash value realized. The first person I talked to was operating under the belief that he has some authority over me and addressed me in a discourteous manner. He was consistently discourteous. I brought in two (2) new bicycles to sell. This evening I recieved a call that I must pick-up my "unsold" bicycle within 48 hours - OR IT WOULD BE DONATED. I called an Attorney and questioned this threat. At the time Valley Bike and SKI recieves your bicycle they assume custody of the item. Since the customer never surrenders ownership (as long as he/she can be contacted) , and there is no actionable lien aginst the item - IT CANNOT BE GIVEN AWAY BY VALLEY BIKE AND SKI. I dont't believe that empty threats of illegal activity is a profitable path. Valley Bike and Ski will never see me darken their door again. If ayone else uses them ...... think twice.
