U S BANK

This bank has horrible customer service. My husband and I have just moved out of state. We simply needed a copy of a check for our mortgage company. USBank told my husband on the phone that the check copy would cost $2. At the same time I emailed them for a copy of the check and they told me it was free, but then spent many many emails telling me how they needed my address for a back-up way to send a copy of the check. They went back and forth with me via email requesting an address they already had and which I had already given them, wasting my time and purposely making it hard for me to get a simple copy of a check. Meanwhile they had already emailed a copy of the check to my husband without my knowledge. This bank has terrible email communications and bad online banking.  If you ever move, forget it, all bets are off.  It's likely they won't even recognize you as a customer, even if you have thousands of dollars in their bank. Extremely frustrating.  I can't wait to close my account and be done with them.

They have been easy to work with. I get a monthly statement with my balance. I called today to get my pay off information, and they transferred me to the right person right away, and she helped me over the phone. It was refreshing because my home mortgage company is not this easily accessable.
