TOUSLEY FORD INC

nothing went right from the start. they screwed up my contract and told me not to pay my first payment until the contract was figured out. then i got hit with a late fee and no one would help. i had to go back to resign papers. today i had my first oil change. my car was in perfect shape. when i got it back the whole front fender is broken off and they are saying i did it. good thing i literally took pictures of the undamaged car last week!

My Wife was going out of town and we noticed a leak on the floor. I could not get into my regular repair shop so I call Tousley and explained my situation and they said to bring it right in and they would help me. When I got there the service rep was very cordial and helpful. He looked at the engine and when he moved the reservoir, he saw the leak and knew the problem in minutes, it was cracked. He stated he could fix right away so my Wife could get out of town. When I got the bill, they had a $75 diagnoses fee! I was not happy. My Son had a similar problem with his car and when he took it to my regular auto repair company, it cost him $250. I was in a panic to get the work done so I paid the amount for the quick response and repair. Why the diagnostic fee when the problem was evident?

I dropped my car off on a Monday morning and was told it would be ready the following Monday. I received a call every other day to let me know who the job was progressing and assuring me it would be done on time. I was shocked when I received a call on Friday morning advising me the car was ready. I was so happy when I saw the car. The work was excellent. I cannot even tell that it had been repaired.
They were very friendly and helpful and worked with me to get the $50 rebate for service of $250.

I have always received great service which includes them making recommended services but not being pushy about having them done. In the 11 years I have been doing business with them I have had only one small issue which they took care of without question.

and quot;Quick Serviceand quot; has a single queue where you sit in your vehicle until a garage bay opens up. Once in this queue it is impossible to leave if another vehicle pulls up behind you until you reach the front of the queue. Only when you actually enter the bay do you get to talk to anyone. I waited nearly an hour despite calling ahead and being told that it would only be a short wait.

My main complaint was with the diagnosis. This provider has a relationship with the insurance company that had to pay for the work. They did everything they could to convince me that damage to my car was from some other cause. No matter what evidence I provided them, they refused to appreciate the actual problem. Insurance ended up covering approximately $3000 additional work elsewhere from people that did not have a conflict of interest. The work performed on my bumper was crooked. After the completion, Tously bombarded me with advertisements for repair work. They really wasted my time.
At an earlier time they could not diagnose simple maintenance problems at their service center next to the sales floor. I opened up the handbook and figured it out myself.

They do a good job and are quick. I always go back there as they give very good customer service. They have a quick lane where you can drive up and you don’t need an appointment. They take you on first come first serve basis. You can go there anytime. They do some basic things like tire rotation there. I think they do extensive work too in that lane but I am not aware of it. What I like the most is the convenience to drop in without any appointment according to my schedule. You can get through pretty quickly there.

On Jun 9 vehicle promised on Jun 11, not ready until Jun 16. Front pax door couldn't be opened due to poor alignment, said it would only take a few minutes. 45 minutes later she brought it out and said it was ready. Still out of alignment. Ready 3rd time on Jun 21. Paint and clearcoat damaged on door from painters tape (they said it was like that when it came in, but photos indicated otherwise), numerous screws missing from wheel-well guards, on guard hanging down and rubbing tire, A/C line leaking, new parts not rust-proofed, turn signals not properly mounted (one actually loose), did not adjust skid control after alignment. Had to take it to another shop to have job done properly.

I purchased a used car from them. They showed me a report that said it had not been in any accidents. I wasn't terribly happy with the car because it was very rattlely. I assumed it was because it was a cheaper car. 10 months later someone rear-ended me and when I took it in for repairs I found out why it rattled. A reputable body shop showed me where the car had been damaged in a major accident prior. It had a bent frame and basically was unsafe to be on the road and according to the body shop owner, should have been totaled. Upon returning to Tousley Ford with this info, they, of course denied any knowledge of the damage and promptly accused me of doing the damage. Eventually we did work out a deal for a new car but I have lost all confidence in a company that would sell an unsafe car.

I was very satisfied with the experience overall. They negotiated a very reasonable price for the vehicle and for my trade-in, and they were very responsive with questions and minors repairs after the sale. I would continue to use them for service, but they are on the other side of town.

I bought a second hand car that was still under warranty. Went to Tousley Ford for an inspection. They delivered very fast service. They discovered multiple problems, but repaired all of them at no cost to me. They delivered exactly what promised . They took care of all the formal paperwork, I did not have to worry about anything. The only constructive feedback that I have is that they did not offer shuttle service, so I had to arrange for a ride, when I left the car with them. This is the only reason I would not use them again in the future.

I was fine with the service. They did it in the time frame that they said they were going to do it in, and they called when it was done. I have not had any issues with them.

We have purchased many cars in the past. This transaction could not of been easier or smoother. The sales people we worked with were Bob and Phil. Mike F. is the sales manager and a great person to work with as well. We looked at 30 or 40 trucks over the last 3 weeks from them. We never felt pressured to buy something we didn't feel was right. We never received harassing phone calls. They let us work at our own pace and were always there to answer questions and to help us along the way. They now have a customer for life.

I BOUGHT MY CAR FROM TOUSLEY AND WAS HAPPY WITH THEIR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND HELPFUL SALESMEN. I USED THEM FOR STANDARD MAINTENANCE WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. THIS WAS THE 60,000 MILE PACKAGE. THEY ARE VERY EASY AND FRIENDLY TO USE. I USUALLY DROP MY CAR OFF AND GET A FREE LOANER SO THAT I DON'T HAVE TO MISS WORK. ON THIS VISIT, THEY ENDED UP HAVING THE CAR FOR FOUR DAYS AS THEY DID HAVE TROUBLE ISOLATING THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT PROBLEM. I HAD THE LOANER SO I WASN'T TOO UPSET BY THE DELAY. THEY AREN'T THE CHEAPEST, BUT CERTAINLY ARE A VERY COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR THOSE THAT HAVE TROUBLE DEALING WITH CAR REPAIR SHOPS.
