.We had used Transformed Tree in our previous home after a kitchen/basement flood from a burst pipe.  They had also rebuilt and reinforced 3 decks that were attached to the back of that house.  The quality of their work was impeccable then and our experience was exactly the same when we moved into the home described above, which was built in 1963.  We met at the new home with one of the partners of Transformed Tree, Mel Salmi, who drew up plans, made suggestions and helped us figure out what needed to be done.  Mel and Peter have a crew of reliable, talented and very trustworthy craftsmen with many talents.  They are thoughtful, careful and the work they do is impressive.  In addition to an excellent construction crew, the cabinetmaker built us a beautiful wall unit to surround a stone fireplace which was subcontracted.  They consulted with us throughout the renovation, making changes as we requested, reconfiguring plans, costs, etc.  Most of the work was done before we moved into the home.  A very positive experience.

Their perfectionism, their professionalism, and the quality of their work are what stand out about them. They are so talented. They did a renovation in the house I am in now. I just bought a new house and they are renovating it now. They are just wonderful. I don't know what to compare their price with, but they have negotiated.

Great experience. This was a small project for them and they were able to work with our schedule and fit it in between other jobs. Our carpenter was pleasant to work with. The job was completed expeditiously. They were respectful of our living space. This was our first experience with a contractor and we were testing the waters (given all of the horror stories out there). We were pleased and would consider doing a larger project with them.

I had an excellent experience. I called them after my sister had used them and they did a great job for her. It was a pretty big bathroom and they completely gutted and replaced everything.
