This place will rip you off. My parents paid for car repairs as a Christmas present in 2013. The car was a 1995 Mazda protege. The body of the car was not in good condition, and it was developing some problems, but I couldn't afford to get it fixed. The blue book value for that model in the condition it was in was less than $800 (I'm being generous). When they called my Mom to confirm that she wanted the repairs they suggested they told her that the cost of the repair to a couple of the things repairs needed was going to be $2500. They actually wanted her to spend more than that to fix "all" the issues they said that the car had. When she asked if it was really worth it to fix the car from 1995 that didn't seem to be in good condition, or should she just get a different used car, they told her that it's a good model and they think that she should get it fixed. The car fell apart 6 months after the repairs. A few days after I posted this review I was contacted by an employee of this establishment in an attempt to get me to take down this review. He made all kinds of excuses as to why it wasn't their fault, including "how are we supposed to know how what a 1995 Mazda protege was worth"? When I told him the value of the model on blue book he claimed that he had never heard of the site. I think he's lying about blue book, and his claim that they don't know how much a car is worth is just nonsense. Shouldn't a professional mechanic know weather or not it's worth it to repair a very old, kinda beat up car? These people are crooks, don't go there.

I'm real happy with them. I'd give them an "A" overall. They are very easy to work with. Their price is probably average. Yes I would definitely use them in the future.

Service was great. Manager was very friendly and professional. Felt like I was important to him. He came highly recommended by a couple of people I fully trust for recommendations. They said that he is not one of the cheaper ones but they really like his work.

They provided excellent service. They seemed honest and dependable. They got everything done real quickly. I waited so it is not very long. If I needed to because I live in the neighborhood, they have given me rides to my home like when I go drop my car of. They have done that in the past. I would tell my friends to go there. They are reasonable and the quality is good. They are friendly. They know my name when I come in there. I brought a different car and they ask what is going on with my other car. So, they recognize you and check your other vehicle that may need servicing as well. I would recommend them.

Got an appointment to get the tires put on same day. Walked me through options for savings with the GoodYear Tires offer going on at the time. Great service, quick turnaround time, and the tires are as good as he said they would be. I am very happy with the results and will return for other service on my car.

I took my car in because it appeared I had a slow leak in one of the tires. I knew that I may end up having to replace all 4, since they were in pretty sorry shape. I dropped off my car the night before and they worked on it during the day. They called me as soon as they had analyzed the situation, and they were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy at all. I did replace all 4. I was able to pick up my car that evening. They even filled out my rebate form for me so all I have to do is mail it in! I will definitely go back for non-warranty repairs!!

The guys there were very professional called and told me what I needed and exactly how much it would cost. They also told me when it would be ready for pick up. No surprises when I got the bill and the car was ready when promised. Have not have another problem with it starting since.

We've had a variety of work done at Garage of New Brighton over the past several years - they've handled everything from routine maintenance to major repairs (struts, transmissions, etc.). We've always received prompt status updates, and our cars have typically been ready earlier than anticipated.
On the few occasions that we've had problems (usually with parts, not the labor), we've had those taken care of without complaint or problems. Indeed, last week, they were so concerned on whether they put the car seat back in wrong (they didn't), they even checked twice (at the time of pickup and by phone two days later!). It's that kind of attention to details that have kept us coming back to them.

I had a noise in my car; the Garage did a diagnostic for which they charged me $53 telling me that I needed new struts. I took my car to a friend who replaced the bushings. That took care of the problem. When I told the Garage about it they said that with the mileage I had, I probably needed the struts anyway. I wasn't really happy with that response. For oil changes they are fine but I would not have them do any other of my work.

They do excellent work. The communication is excellent. They explain things thoroughly and they do excellent work. You can bring the car back if there is a problem. Their price is comparable and fair.

They are very responsive and work hard. They do very competent work. They are not experts in all foreign cars however, so they may not always know or have access to much of the information required for those models. For instance, we brought in a Volvo and they had trouble finding out what the issue was.

I have been using this company for several years. They are always very personable and helpful. I only live a few blocks away from the shop and they always offer to take me home while they are working on my car. They call me and inform me of things they notice and things to look out for in the future.
