Excellent work. They worked hard to get our floors done in a timely manner so we could get moved in to our new house. The floors have new life to them—they are beautiful.

Sweeney responded very promptly to our call for help. He came over and assured us that the job would be no problem and our house would sell after the floors got redone. Sweeney was very kind, yet considerate of our immediate needs. So he was social and talked with us, but very efficient in getting the work done on time. The job he did was fantastic! Our house sold and much credit has to be given to Sweeny in the amazing job he did. In addition, Sweeney worked with us to make it very affordable. I would highly recommend giving Sweeny a call if you have any flooring needs. Besides being very professional, he is a great family man also that understands where people are coming from, and we truly appreciated that.

Had 3 rooms and hallway hardwood floors refinished. Sweeny was punctual, affordable, clean, and friendly. Being a single female, I felt comfortable with our business dealings and safe with him in my home.

Sweeny did an excellent job in making our wood flooring in our Kitchen and Foyer look like it was brand new!

Everything went extremely well and it was all done in the time frame he said it would! Sweeny is very informative concerning hardwood flooring. He explained everything he would be doing and the difference between polys as to the smells as I am very smell sensitive. I would and have recommended him and his services to other family members and friends. They also used him as their flooring guy and all were exceedingly satisfied with his services!

The sanding and re-coating went pretty quickly for the size of the job. Price breakdown for the individual costs contributing to the total cost was nice and clear prior and during the process. Work progressed well and took the approximated amount of time to finish (around a week in my case). Some minor touch up to coating around my radiators was needed after the main job was completed, but followup was prompt without hassle and only took about 10 minutes or so. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Had my wood floors refinished. Very polite and courteous. I was planning on replacing them but they were able to refinish the original floors. Looks so amazing! Glad I was able to keep the original floors.

We purchased a home last August that was built in 1913. Beautiful home but terrible carpet. We were lucky to find that we had hardwood under a double layer of padding and some deep carpet. We hired Sweeney to give these old floors new life before we moved in( highly recommend that if possible).
We decided to hire Sweeney because after the first 45 minutes of talking with him we felt assured we could trust him in our home and that he knew what he was doing. 
Unfortunately for Sweeney there was over a hundred years worth of tacky varnish on those floors and he certainly earned every penny. Sweeney showed us all the areas that needed repair and let us make decisions along the way. We didn't have any surprise additions to the bill and the floors came out as beautiful as he assured us they would. 

Sweeny is very personable and responsive during the estimate/scheduling process. When I contacted Sweeny, he told me he could start my job within a week. When I signed the initial contract for over $5000 of work, suddenly he was super busy and wasn't sure when he could get to me. I made it clear the date I wanted a portion of the project completed (was going to do the entire house, a couple of rooms at a time and needed 2 rooms finished for my remodeling contractor to continue he work). He showed the first day but mentioned, several times, how he had another job he had to get to. He was suppose to come again the next day and didn't show and did not respond to my calls. He finally showed up 4 days later. He made it clear, in word and deed, that my project was unimportant and he didn't feel it deserved his time and attention. He kinda sanded the two rooms. I say kinda because I found a 1' x 3' section in one room that had only been rough sanded, he missed it when fine sanding. In the other room, I found areas where he had applied wood filler and never sanded it down. At this point, I was no longer interested in working with him and just wrote it off to a bad experience. He did not attempt to collect payment until 2 months later. I wrote him a letter, with pictures, explaining my complaint. I also mentioned I was unwilling to send him a check and would prefer to exchange a check for a Lien Waiver in person. Twice, he made arrangements with me to make this exchange and then never showed up. Extremely unprofessional.
