I needed my window frame refinished.  On the recommendation of Eric's Handyman Services, I contacted Steve Svac.  He was unable to come for an estimate, but sent Chris who works with him.  Chris arrived promptly, quickly understood the work that was needed, explained how they did their refinishing and provided an estimate.  I later called Steve to set up a date.  Steve and Chris arrived promptly at the scheduled time, set up for the work, and completed ahead of schedule.  They were neat and clean while doing the work.  There was a bit of a lingering odor the same day, but no odor the next day as my neighbor verified.  I would definitely hire Steve for remodeling and Chris for painting again.
I also discussed a minor kitchen remodel with Steve and will definitely contact him for an estimate when I am ready to tackle that project.

We have had Steve handle both interior and exterior remodel work on our home. On this occasion, he came to replace rotting garage trim pieces and to do extensive sanding/painting of home exterior trim.
 
In previous years, Steve has remodeled both bathrooms, a kitchen, and handled a variety of smaller repair/remodel tasks. The quality of his work is first-rate, his prices are exceedingly fair, and his low-key personality makes for a great work experience. Highly recommended.

Steve is as good as they come. He shows up on time, does an excellent job of maintaining/cleaning the workspace, and does top-notch work that consistently stays within budget. I have recommended him to my neighbors, and he now does jobs for them as well.
