Superior Garage Door

Cost of the opener was very high compared to the retail price, I understand that things need to be priced for profit, but this was excessive. And, there was a $250 charge for installation. Installation was sloppy, leaving behind screws and a bolt/nut or two. There seems to be some wiring issue as light does not come on when walking through opener beam. When writing the review, it stated that if couldn’t give them a high rating, to call. My wife did call with details and thoughts on the issue. That was more than 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back.

He was friendly and went out of his way because I wanted a belt driven opener, he didn't have the supplies on hand, so he went back to get the proper equipment for what I wanted. Gave me instructions for how to use it.

Arrived within 2 hours after call and replaced both torsion springs. Tuned, lubricated, and tested door to ensure proper working order. Work completed in about one hour. Professional and pleasant service tech. Works hard to satisfy customer.

They didn’t do all that was listed on their invoice charged me over $700 just to take my door off the track now I need to shell out more money to have the actual issue fixed. Stay away if you don’t know how to read an invoice they will trick you out of money. They say they did a 23 point inspection but how could they if it was off the track ?

Not well. Tech said I should replace "mother board" or entire opener. I said just reprogram it and explained the above reason. I said I read online how to do it and it is simple but at my advanced age, I do not climb ladders and reach almost to the ceiling of the garage. Opener is only about 3 1/2 years old and not used frequently. I no longer go to work 5 days a week requiring almost daily use of opener I then said just reprogram it. He said "I reset it." I then brought out the car remote and said batteries should be changed. He said they don't need it unless door doesn't open. Angie's list says first thing to do is replace batteries! Furthermore, the tech was unfriendly, surly even. When Jodie of Superior Garage called me to schedule, I asked how much. She said $39 so I said ok, knowing it was a simple procedure. The tech billed me $119. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!

Received a call from Superior within a few minutes of submitting on Angies List for a garage door that could not be opened manually, with broken cables. Terry did a great job. Came out within a few hours of our call. Predicted arrival window was off by an hour (arrived close to 1 for a 10-12 time slot). However, we learned he had long distances to drive within the metro. Fast work and professional with lots of recommendations for us on simple maintenance of the door. Expensive, but we needed new springs and cables, and we were appreciative of the fast and effective service.

Troy was great. Very transparent about the work he was performing and why. He replaced a cable the was questionable for free. Very professional.

Good I learned about greasing moving parts

These guys are the best. They told me how to maintain my door to make it last. They called me to let me know when they would show up. These guys know there job and did it well.....

This emergency repair need occurred about noon. On a Friday. I called numerous other companies and none of them could respond same day. Superior responded same day, got the repair perfectly done and charged no emergency fee or overtime. Their technician Troy was everything you could ask for in service person: responsive, respectful, professional, and clearly proficient. This is the best service company I’ve ever dealt with.

The tech was 30 minutes late and didn't call me to inform me of the delay. Though once the tech arrived he did a great job and the spring replacement went quickly. He was also good at explaining the mechanics behind how the garage door works as I like understanding how things work. I would definitely hire them again.

It was great! Andy, the tech they sent out was very friendly, and courteous. He was very punctual and took his job seriously. He strived to do his best, and I feel like he did a supurb job.

He performed brilliantly and kept the labor hours down. We couldn't be more happy with his service. We also have a house in Shakopee and we will be contacting Mark again to perform some service for us over there. I highly recommend this company and especially their technician. Mark.

Excellent and fast

Exceptional! Called Monday AM, tech (Mark) arrived late afternoon, completed 80% of job, had to leave b4 finished as tool broke. Made commitment to call early Tuesday while enroute, arrived 9AM and completed job. On time, finished job, cost reflected work done. No one else will work on my garage doors now that I have found this group. Well done, I was served beyond my expectations. Thanks, Mark!

Company sent a very inexperienced technician to install the opener, because of his inexperience he caused numerous delays and headaches which were ultimately charged to us through his 165$ an hour rate. When he spent over 500 in labor without properly installing the opener we purchased, we were ultimately forced to buy their model for an additional 300$....all in , we spent a lot more money and time than we should have - I would definitely not use them again.

The service was great! We only waited a couple hours after calling and the technician was very informational. He gave my mom exactly what she needed and didn't try to upsell her. He was done within an hour and the garage is working like new. We would definitely recommend them to others.
