St. Croix Cleaners is a full-service, award winning dry cleaning and laundry company. We have been in business since 1960. Since building our new plant in 2007, we use environmentally-friendly solvents and methods. We provide a satisfaction guarantee for our quality and service. We also provide specialty cleaning and preservation for wedding gowns, vintage clothing and textiles, and costumes from several major theaters. We provide a home delivery route for customers. "I am so sorry that you weren't happy with the cleaning of your sweater! I can assure you that all garments are cleaned in our drycleaning or wet-cleaning machines, as appropriate. Unfortunately, sometimes we do miss some stains and will always happily re-do the items at no extra charge. Please note that the removal of stains is a complex process involving wet-side or dry side solvents depending upon fabric content & stain content. Some stains will move in dry cleaning, while some need careful prespotting and then dry or wet cleaning. In order to insure our process and quality, we also barcode each garment and can track that garment through our process, check-in, drycleaning, pressing, assembly/bagging, racking. Each process has a date/time stamp, and needs to go through each process before it can move to the next, so that it is virtually impossible to go through our plant without being cleaned at all. I don't know specifically what happened with your sweater, but we do try our best to make customers happy. Once again, I apologize that we were unable to make you happy with this sweater.
