It went well. Scott and his team worked diligently and repaired all the areas as we found them not knowing exactly where all the leaks were.

Scott was on vacation when we called and we had to wait a few days to get on the schedule. He did his best to accommodate us and gave us a window between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. the day of service. Scott and his partner arrived shortly after 3:00 p.m. Scott tried to auger the toilet and this resulted in forcing the water down and creating a waterfall in the basement because the blockage couldn't be reached. The water poured onto my new washer and dryer, soaking the machines' control panels and coming very close to making contact with the power outlet (220 volts) on the wall. He continued to auger even after I told him that the basement was flooding. He also tried to go through the tub drain to see if the blockage was in there (ended up having nothing to do with the blockage). In hindsight, the toilet needed to come off the base so that the drain was accessible and why this was not done, I do not know. My husband had even mentioned this to me so I'm surprised that Scott didn't stop to think that this might be the key to fixing it. The more he used the auger, the faster the water poured into the basement, and I was starting to panic because I couldn't keep up with the flow of water. I did not anticipate that this would be happening. The appliances should have been moved out of harm's way and a tub of some sort should have been set up underneath to prevent the flooding. Everything was getting soaked because he kept flushing the toilet and using the auger. The new tile in the basement is now lifting because the water was standing on it too long. Scott finally stopped when it became clear that he could not remove the blockage with the equipment he had. As I was coming up the stairs, I met them at the door as they were leaving. Scott said that there would be no charge for him coming out and then he handed me a business card for Clean Drainz by Bob & Son, LLC. and told me to call them right away because they couldn't do anything more. I did call Bob and he started asking me questions that I couldn't answer. It would have been really nice if Scott had stuck around long enough to explain to Bob what was happening instead of having me call and try to describe the problem. I was also very unhappy with the complete mess the basement was left in and I can't help wondering why the water wasn't shut off or why he kept using the auger even after I brought his partner downstairs to show him what was happening (his comment was that the water was coming in pretty good). This job was out of Scott's reach and I do appreciate that he was able to refer me to someone that was able to fix the job in less than 30 minutes. He may be terrific at other projects, but I would not recommend him for drain cleaning. Responsiveness gets a C because he did not return a call to my husband to explain what he did while he was here.

I just wrapped up a small bathroom remodel and I could not have done it without the expertise and advice of Scott. I used Scott for 3 separate stages of the renovation that included cutting and capping the copper pipes after the room was gutted. He also moved the copper pipes a little and added new tubing where it was needed. He also prepared the drain and and sink pipes so I could change to a pedestal sink. The next visit he brought his brother to help install the bathtub and finally his nephew to install the toilet and pedestal sink and connect the water. I was glad to meet so many of his family members. Because I was doing this work myself in stages and slowly over a fairly long period of time, it made sense to pay for each section of the work as I went. I am so thrilled to finally have it done. Here is what you need to know about Scott: he is extremely skillful, arrives on time, fit me into the schedule in a timely fashion, returns phone calls, is a straight shooter, very competitively priced and is just a really great guy. It is easy to have him in your home working and he was nice to the dogs and cats too! Scott is in high demand because he is so professional, works fast but is also a perfectionist and wants to get things right for you. He never complained once or said that anything was too difficult. He seems to enjoy a challenge and he was very supportive of the effort I invested in this project. I strongly recommend Scott and I know that if you use him once, you will keep his number close by for the future and recommend him to others.

Scott is great is always very punctual and professional.  We have used him for two more jobs and he is always fair in price and willing to explain why he is doing things.  I highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs.

On time, professional, explained his work & personable.

Scott's estimate was quite a bit lower than my other estimate that I received, but he made everything seem pretty straightforward.  He has a lot of experience and so there wasn't anything that he hasn't seen before and he didn't make me feel like it was a difficult job.  He said he could get everything done in one day whereas the other estimate said two days. 
I was a little hesitant at first just because of the lower cost, but it ended up being a good decision.  Scott showed up right on time the morning of the scheduled service.  He had the old water heater out and the new one in right away and moved on to the drain.  That took a little gumption to jack hammer out, but he got it and then laid the new one in and cemented it in.  That was done by noon.  He then moved on to the easier items like the outdoor faucet and the shower plumbing and hardware.  He finished everything up by 2 PM.  He cleaned up after himself very well and everything checked out very well.  He didn't seem in a hurry to leave and made sure that all my questions were answered.  He gave me a quick training on maintenance for the new hot water heater too. 
Overall, I think Scott Spiess was an outstanding value and I recommend him to others as a good plumber to have.

He found the leak and replaced the joint with a more secure one. He arrived promptly on time, very clean work area, and reasonable price for the work he did. The appointment was also scheduled to work with my schedule, I had some concern to if this would prevent my from using me washer and he did agree to make a priority to come out if I had problems, which he didn't need to.

He's been in my house a couple of times. The first time he came we spent $1000 and the second time we spent $500. The entire kitchen ceiling had to be torn out to gain access to the pluming line to the upstairs bathroom. He helped me with all that and the second time he redid all the plumbing in our laundry room including the gas line. We moved the washer and dryer and got rid of the  giant cement sink and put in a modern tub. The service was outstanding. A coworker of mine referred me to him and it worked out very well. I've recommended him a few times.

There is only one word for Scot - OUTSTANDING.  He is fast, effective and honest.  In every sense he went the extra mile for me and I'd recommend him to my own Mother.  Rates are standard and work is exceptional.

Call Scott 3.25 to have a softener installed we asked to have it installed within a time frame to accommodate our schedule and he did.  He also has installed a water heater, replumbed pipes to the upstairs bathroom and has come out during emergencies.
We've know Scott more than five years and he's always been professional. 
He's done this work on a rental property and has come without us being onsite and has been courteous to our renters.

Scott was very busy and kindly managed to shoehorn me in. He figured out the problem pretty quickly and didn't have the part for the toilet. This was on a Friday, and he said he could go get the parts and finish on Friday but asked if it would be okay for him to come back on Monday, so he didn't run late for the rest of his regularly scheduled Friday jobs. I was impressed by his consideration for his customers (including me), and I told him to come back Monday when it wouldn't be an inconvenience for his other customers. He came back Monday and finished everything on time. I totally recommend him and will use him for any future plumbing issues!
