I Hope, If you are suffering from Bed bugs, that you see this review. I was a DIY'er. I had washed, dried and bagged all my clothes, linens, pillows, etc. I bought the mattress encasements, bed bug detectors, herbal sprays. I was still losing my mind, after wearing my self to the bone every night after work. Dreading going to bed, losing sleep. I had called Terminix, and got quotes from other places, always the price for treatment was around $2000. for my small house. I was determined to continue diligently, but got to that point where my daughter and I were miserable and I called out to the heavens " I can't do this any more!! please help" The next day, I received a call from Brian from Rove pest control. He had been referred by one of the home advisor type web sites where I had been researching options. I told Brian my situation and he said he would come and take a look and make an assesment for me. For NO CHARGE, Brian came by and, unlike Terminix, who left after 5 minutes telling me I didn't have a problem,(and only looked at my bedding) Brian did a thorough examination and was the 1st of 3 companies to actually find evidence of the Bed bugs. He also had an immense amount of intuition and knowledge about their habits. I must also mention, that Brian is the head of the bed bug department at Rove and is focused exclusively on Bed bug treatments. He knows bed bugs! He gave me a price that was less than half of what other companies had quoted. A 6 month warranty and free follow-up. On the day of the Heat Treatment, Brians' technician, Justin, showed up on time, and explained clearly what he would be doing and how long it would take. He was very repectful of my home and very kind, like Brian. I left for work, cat's in the basement with food and water, and returned at about 5:30 pm. They basically turn the rooms they are treating into convection chambers, heating up to 140 degrees. They came in an unmarked van, brought their own generators to run the heaters and fans off of so they are not drawing on your electricity. After the heat treatment, Justin did a chemical spraying around the parimeters of the rooms and along the wall to ceiling juncture. After two weeks they return to repeat the spraying which has an "exciter" which will draw out any bugs that may have survived. My daughter and I slept in a stillness that night. No bugs, no bites! We are now 2 months out from that fateful August day, and I have to say, it was SOOOO worth it to have had the heat treatment for the sanity it restored to our lives. Working with Brian, and his technician, Justin, was the best thing to happen to us and I would highly recommend calling Rove if you have this horrid problem. Ask for Brian!!
