Roof-to-Deck (St. Paul)

This company does not stand behind the work when they (Roof to Deck) made a poor decision to stain my deck when it was about to rain and then claim that warranty work was already performed when they didn't do the job properly in the first place.

Would recommend the company for the work that needed to get done. They were knowledgeable and performed high quality work. Easy to schedule visits for consultation and the work itself. Arrived on time and as expected. To keep this review completely transparent, sections of our lawn near the deck were left somewhat "burned" by the equipment used to stain & seal. The real challenge for us was with regard to communication, specifically in the area of bill reconciliation. Our project was largely funded by an insurance claim. Often times, it seemed as though documentation and assurances made to us had not been shared internally, preventing clearer expectations on both sides of the relationship.

This company is excellent. The job was outstanding and the staff "over the top".

They did excellent work exactly when and how they said they would. Good job. Deck looks better than it did when new!

It initially would have taken me longer to stain my deck myself, however, it would have been done correctly and my beautiful patio I just had put in in September would not be stained also. I had to have the company come back 3 more times to use the correct stain color, sand the top railings and handrail. They completed(?) the job yesterday. I ran my hand on the handrail and ended up with a sliver in my hand. If you hire this company to do work for you and you have any issues, try not to have to deal with Jessica. She was rude and me being in customer service for 28 years, she really is lacking in customer service skills.

They were amazing! The cleaning guy was good, he did an excellent job. Cleaned the siding after to remove the wood pulp that was all over. The staining guy was so nice and friendly he explained everything to me and even wiped each black metal spindle down when he was finished.

Had Roof to Deck clean and stain out deck and Pergola. Quality is excellent. When the project was completed we were very satisfied with the results. Would use this company again for future projects. Thank you, Jackie!!

After 9 months the deck horizontal surfaces have almost completely lost their stain. Raw wood is now been exposed to the sun. I have made contact with the company, but it has been difficult. Waiting to hear back about warranty service. Company has pro-rated warranty program so you have to pay more in order for them to correct any issues. Not a very good warranty at all. Workmanship is of poor quality. This will be the second do over in less than a year. Very disappointed.

Overall, I'm happy with the company from the time I contacted them, up to & including the work performed. The technician also did a good job of cleaning up any mess that was from cleaning the roof. I'm a satisfied customer! I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They did a beautiful job stripping and resealing a large deck with a thick coat of old stain. Can't believe how beautiful it looks now! None of their chemicals harmed my plants or siding in any way. Their price was really excellent and I will certainly hire them again. They guarentee the job for 2 years and even left a small container of stain to take care of any scuffs before then. Wow!

They were in constant contact with me and performed a difficult repair on a weekend just to make sure it got done correctly.
