Robert Calton Stained Glass

For many years I wanted stained glass installed in our house.  We have two ?piano windows? on either side of our fireplace.  I finally decided to make my move, and google came up with Bob Calton.  We spoke with him and interviewed another stained glass artist, and decided on Bob.   We chose him because the designs on his website were beautiful, and also they showed versatility ? he was able to create in many different styles.  He was also much cheaper.  He visited our house and took measurements, and we discussed what we wanted.  We decided on a lotus and a ?hamsa? or ?hand of Fatima.?  My wife (an artist) found appropriate designs online and manipulated them to get a design which Bob further modified so that it worked with glass.  We went with Bob to the glass place to choose our colors and styles.  There are so many choices.  Bob suggested things where he knew the effect would be good.  Then he went to work, finished in a timely manner, a few weeks.  We had a carpenter install them and there you are.  They are more than beautiful.  They take my breath away whenever the sun shines through them in the afternoon.  Stunning work.   I recommend him highly.  I wish I could show you photos.  At certain times of the day the windows are luminous, magical.  And at night, they look great from the outside.
