Our experience with this painter was extremely
disappointing.  He handles his business
affairs very unprofessionally; does not return phone calls or emails, and once
he starts the job his work schedule is unpredictable.  It was not uncommon for him to be absent from
the job for multiple days at a time or work only short periods each day.  We were told painting would begin in July,
but it was finally started in mid-August. 
Total time to paint our home was 5-6 weeks.  During that time, we expressed concern over
the results we were seeing and pointed out areas needing to be redone (i.e.,
old color bleeding through, undersides of siding not painted, fresh paint
peeling, etc.).  The painter agreed to
correct this.  Many areas of concern were
overlooked by him and not taken care of. 
Overspraying was also an issue on windows and light fixtures (see att.
photo).  Additionally, we requested that
our steel garage doors not be painted. 
Not only did he ignore this request, but it appears two different colors
of paint were used on the doors.
On his last day at our home we were assured all areas of
concern had been taken care of and final payment was made.  Upon closer inspection over the past few
weeks we are discovering this was not the case. 
There are many unfinished or poorly done areas.  For an experienced painter, his work was
substandard and we cannot with good conscience recommend him.

I would use them again.

The owner, Douglas Hersom, does the work himself, he is professional and puts in extra effort to get the work done right. The 3 rooms painted look great.
