We picked R & M Sanitation for our garbage collection when we moved to St Paul. Growing up in Mpls, I was unused to having to pick a service for collection so Angie's List helped me decide on a provider. After calling R & M and a few other places we chose R & M because they've got the best deal going and they didn't try to slip any hidden fees like drop off or pick up charges for the waste containers, etc. And recently, we ended up with an old box spring mattress we no longer needed and R & M was super easy to deal with arranging to have that picked up w/ our next scheduled trash day. All they asked was a little advanced notice and at $15 it was cheaper than taking it to the dump ourselves. This is a small company so they don't have a website but what they lack in modernity they more than make up for in service. I would recommend them to anyone in St Paul in need of a trash service.

Overall, good. I have no one to compare them to for costs and service. Difficult to do a comparison of garbage collectors pricing range.

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL. I APPRECIATE THAT THEY DON'T CHARGE EXTRA FOR A CHRISTMAS TREE. EVEN THOUGH MY CONTRACT IS FOR ONE SMALL GARBAGE CAN ONLY, THEY WILLINGLY PICK UP SMALL ITEMS BALANCED ON TOP OF THE CAN OR NEXT TO IT, AND THEY DON'T CHARGE MORE. THERE IS A SMALL REASONABLE CHARGE FOR A MATTRESS OR PIECE OF FURNITURE.
