My experience with Prototype so far has been wonderful, and I plan to continue to use them. I've worked with 2 amazing women, and both were professional, helpful, objective, supportive, and motivating. I've also found they're great at setting expectations from the outset and have been very clear communicating their prices and services, and their website is up to date with that info as well, which I appreciated. I recommend reading Amy's articles in the Pioneer Press (Amy Lindgren) and if you like her style, go work with them!

I am extremely pleased with the services I received. I showed Amy my current resume and she had more than a few ideas on how to fix it up. But then EVERYBODY had a few ideas on how to fix it up. Once it was repaired/rewritten when people would try to fix it they would stop and say it was done well. I have only good comments for Prototype.

I was very disappointed. Not only is the hours of operation standard 9 to 5 hours (which makes it very hard to get in, you have to actually take off work), the money that I spent to have a resume rewritten (about $450.00) was money not well spent. I have to pay again to have another company do it over again because it is not what I had wanted. I had only one initial one on one with the resume writer, and then even though I had tried to get together with him again, he was adamant that we would not meet and could only do it over the phone. I finally got tired of having it done and done again by him back and forth over the phone and via email, so I finally just gave up. I am frustrated that there was no time taken to understand my industry and also the reluctance to meet with me. Beware. On a side note I also had some time management counseling which I felt was also a waste of time. I was extremely disappointed with the services provided by this company.

I was surprised at how quickly the two hours went by. I received follow up calls and confirmation of my appointment, as well as information on what to send ahead of time to make the best use of the two-hour appointment. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional. I found the two-hour session useful, though a bit pricey. I would use them in the future and intend to visit again when I am in the next stage of my job search. I do recommend that you go with very specific ideas of what assistance and counseling you need so that your time and money are well spent.
