Everything was fabulous. It looks great and they finished by the time they said they would. They used a higher quality of concrete (4000 psi) than other bidders, and they also diamond-cut the scoring instead of just trowling-in the scoring, which gives a very finished appearance, and should really help with snow shoveling this winter. They also spent scheduled time each afternoon cleaning up the surrounding area...driveways, street, even washing the bottom portion of my garage door! Even though they spent many days in our complex, I told Jim Knowlton that we appreciated their daily efforts to clean and police the area. The quality was great and the company was professional. (To be fair, I should mention that this was special pricing, since they were replacing the 25-year old concrete at many of the neighboring 32 townhomes in our complex.) 

 (I got a quote from another company a couple of years ago for $7500 which I knew was w-a-y high. So, I waited until we found Prestige Concrete.)

He's very honest. He is a hard worker. He listens to what I say as to what I want the results to be and he modifies the plans to what I want the end results to be. He doesn't pressure me.

This is the second time we have used Prestige Concrete once in 2004 and again in 2009. They replaced four patios in 2004 and they remain in perfect condition without cracks or any pitting. In September of 2009 they replaced two additional patios (10 x 14 feet) and the work was performed perfectly. The old concrete was removed, all debris were carried away, new, re-bar reinforced concrete was poured. All work was done in a single day and the home owners were very pleased. We will continue to use Prestige for all our concrete work.

I called Jim in August, when the city removed my existing Carriage Walk as part of a local street improvement project. He quickly returned my call, and we discussed my go-forward options. We agreed that I would call Jim once the city completed installation of new concrete curbing, and restoration of the boulevard. The city took over two months to complete it's work, but when I finally called Jim again, he was able to come over the next day to examine the site, work out the details of what I wanted, and give me an estimate... for work to begin the next morning! As I had work done by Prestige before, I had no problem with giving the go-ahead. The next morning, Jim and his crew arrived at the appointed time, and by mid-afternoon I had my new Carriage Walk completed, exactly as I had requested. The site was completely clean of excavated dirt, excess concrete, and any other debris.

This is the second time I've used Prestige Concrete for work around my home, and once again I am very pleased with my experience with Jim. He returned my call asking for an estimate very quickly, and set up a convenient appointment. On the day of the appointment Jim called to say he was running a bit early, and wondered if it was OK to come by sooner than scheduled. He quickly evaluated my project, and offered helpful suggestions on some of the details I had not thought of. I accepted his bid the next day. I had to move some items before he could start the work, and I called him on a Monday to say that things were cleared away. Tuesday he called to confirm they would come on Wednesday. They arrived on time Wednesday morning, completed excavation and forms by noon, had the pour done by 1:00, and finished up by 2:30. Jim's crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the site, and the new pad is just as I wanted. I am very pleased (again) by their service and quality work.

HE'S VERY RESPONSIVE, AND HE DOES VERY CLEAN WORK. I KNOW IF SOMETHING CAME UP HE'D BE THERE THAT DAY TO FIX IT. HE'S A VERY HARD WORKER.

WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
