Premier Fence

The installers were great. WE had some difficulty with property line issues and some miscommunication with the sales person. We would not deal with the same sales person again but the rest of the staff were great.

It was very good. We had no complains. They had very good communications, very punctual, very helpful working with us and our neighbors.

FANTASTIC! Responsive, accurate, attention to detail, beautiful workmanship!!! Wonderful communicators! Can't say enough positives about this company an their work!

Very well. A big improvement from the rotten one that was there when I moved in. Now I have peace of mind for the dogs wandering around out there.

Jason and Alex were very professional yet friendly and and their workmanship was excellent. The fence is everything I hoped it would be. I highly recommend Premier and Jason and Alex!!

Bottom line: the fence is nice and as far as I can tell is well installed. If you are looking for care and attention to detail, and quality customer service, however, this is not the company I would recommend. I picked them based on mostly positive reviews, price being comparable to my other bid, and they could do the work sooner. I think the fence itself is nice. My complaint is regarding a lack of attention to detail, and customer service mediocre at best. The contract specified that the dirt from the post holes would be placed in one spot (so I could put it where I wanted). Instead, without asking me, they spread it around my garden. The problem is that the soil is heavy clay and was laid across perennials that can't grow through it. Worse, it was put on some of my neighbor's garden as well. Also, they did not fill the holes from the previous fence posts. For the amount of money paid, I would expect much better attention to detail. This work was done in late fall, and I (and my neighbor) found these problems in early spring, when we went out to start working in the garden. The response I got when I told the company was a questioning of why I hadn't pointed it out earlier, rather than an apology and acknowledgement that the fault was not mine but theirs. They did send the work crew out eventually. This is how I experienced them: first they just walked in the yard with their shovel without knocking on my door; when I went out to talk to them, their reaction was clear: this is a waste of our time; they left again without talking to me; I went outside and wondered if they were done, since some post holes were still unfilled and there had been little attempt to remove the clay soil from the gardens. But they never came back so I deduced that was the end of it. I was just sorely disappointed with the attitude, and especially of the crew.

We are beginning to wonder if Premier Fence stole our money. They have been extremely unresponsive all summer but we went with them because they were recommended by our neighbors and they have the fence color that matches fence we already have installed. Their price was similar to or better than other companies. On Oct 7th we paid Premier Fence over $6000 for work which we were told would be done within 3 weeks. We have heard nothing since. We were told they would schedule with us 2 weeks prior to install. I called and spoke with Diane last week (6 days ago) and was told that we would be called with a date within 1 day but never heard back. I called this morning, spoke with Diane and was told she could not give me a date because she was in the basement but she would call me back today and, again, she never called back. We worked mostly with Bert and he has been terrible about responding to calls and emails.

It could not go better. The sales person Chris Baden did a great job (my wife and I are a little bit perfectionists). He also shared their prior installations and we were able to see the installations through Google Maps. He also brought in product samples, which really helped us a lot. Furthermore, Jason on the execution side installed fence perfectly. It is laser line straight and could not be better. All along, their customercentric focus was evident. I am a little bit surprised there are not enough As on this website. Kudos to the team and could not be happier with our fence and their service.

We were extremely pleased with the work done by Premier Fence. From the initial estimate through the completion of the project, the staff of Premier Fence was helpful, professional and efficient. Even with a couple of bumps in the road due to an unexpected property issue, Premier was responsive, supportive and friendly. We would absolutely use them again, and recommend them highly.

Job took slightly longer than anticipated, but their crew handled it professionally.  New fence looks great and was worth the cost.

My entire experience with Premier Fence went very smoothly from start to finish.  My sales person, Chris, arrived on time and gave me some excellent suggestions as to how I could best get privacy in my back yard.  I received the quote a few days later and the fence was installed within a month of our first meeting.  The installation crew was meticulous in cleaning up their mess after completion.  I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome - not only does the fence look beautiful, but the cedar smells wonderful!

GREAT EXPERIENCE
Premier fence installed over 400' of privacy fence in our backyard.  We interviewed several firms and chose Premier based upon their professionalism, quality of work, and followup.  Bert Sorlien did a great job managing the process and it turned out perfectly!  Premier even fixed a small hole the dog squeezed through after the project was completed.  We will use them for all our fencing needs.

I loved my experience with Premier Fence. I actually got estimates from six providers, so I did my homework. Bert was incredibly thorough in his estimating, taking time to explain the details and give me my own "fence education." One of the main reasons I eventually chose them is that they had experience in doing the kind of fence I wanted - a horizontal privacy fence. Install was done on time and end result looks awesome.

I regret the day I hired these people. The first contact I had with them was back in 2010 when i had them do a bid for a huge motorized gate. My parents had used them and came highly recommended, so I thought I would be in good hands. The sales man came out and I got a bid of $45,000. I wasn't shocked at the cost but he screwed up all my selections in the bid. I asked him to do it again and once more it came back incomplete. He then disapeared and never got into touch with me again.
Fast forward to 2012, I needed a fence for a new property we had just built. My father asked me to give them another chance, so I met with their senior manager Burt and he promised me that this time it would be completely different. They gave me a competitive bid and I decided to give them the job. 
We had discussed the difficulties that came with a double hinged door. Sometimes the wind can take it damaging the hinges and that was not covered under warranty. I understood that and accepted that fact. 
Fast forward to spring 2013 and our fence would not close at the double hinged site. Unsurprisingly, the land had settled and one of the posts twisted. Everything about this gate looked fine otherwise so I called in and had Burt come to look at it. He looked at the gate and said they could fix it in October. I wasn't esactly pleased about the long time frame since I had dogs, but it was what it was. He even said he would get in touch with me to talk about that big motorized gate that I had wanted.
October came and went. I called, yet no one got back to me about my warranty or my other project.
Fast Forward to Spring of 2013. We called in and demanded to speak to the owner. It took several days to get in touch and she didn't even seem to care about the fact that her senior manager hadn't kept in contact with us about another project or about the issue with our gate. She took her time sending someone out and came back to tell us that they would just take the double swing door out and replace it with a solid piece. 
I found that to be unsatisfactory because this problem is covered under warranty. I wanted a double hinged door so the city could get their equipment back there if needed. I also paid more for this fence, so why would I lose the money I put into this without them even attempting to fix the problem?
I told them that they needed to straighten out the pole and give me what I paid for. Their response to me was that because I was on a hill and the water coming down through the ground was an issue. They even said other areas of my fence was showing issues.  I have four properties on a hill with a fence. There is no issue here and if there was an issue I couldn't see then why are they not fixing those other issues as well? So they finally agreed to fix it and I warned them that it had to be soon and not to leave me to the end of the summer as my dogs are still at risk. However they have disappeared again and my husband's calls have not been returned. We recently had an attempted break-in on our property as a result of the gate being unable to close, leaving access to our backyard wide open as we are on a public walking path, and my husband and I are at our breaking point. We are now considering pursing other legal alternatives as a result of their lack of response.
My advice is RUN. A company is only as good as their warranty and this experience has been horrendous.

They were extremely fast, professional and the results look awesome! The first day they dug the holes, poured the concrete and mounted the posts, all in about 3 hours. The next week they came and built the fence and gates. This also happened in about 3 hours. The team of 3 probably saved me months of work and they knew all of the do's and don'ts, so although they were super quick, no quality was spared. Awesome job!

The installer was quick, questionless and did a great job. Premier has a stock aluminum product that is great.

Our rep at Premier, Chris Baden, designed a great gate solution to fit a challenging space. The finished gate is beautiful and functions much better than the previous metal gate, which was awkwardly positioned and difficult to operate. The installer was very skilled, fast and cleaned up all debris, being very careful to minimize damage to the terrace pavers. We greatly appreciate Chris Baden's problem-solving and desire to work with us to create an aesthetically pleasing solution. His deep experience enables him to quickly assess the situation and make good recommendations. This is the second project we've done with Chris and Premier (the first was a cedar privacy fence around our property in 2011) and we highly recommend them.
