About us

We are a residential remodeling company that does custom renovations. We work on basements and attics and everything in between. Phil is the company's owner and only employee. He works with multiple professional sub-contractors who specialize in roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, concrete, landscape, windows, and insulation. One unique thing about Phil Carlson CWC is when able, Phil will "reclaim" objects from remodeling projects and incorporate these items into the current remodel, or use them as individual pieces. Examples: old mirrors, windows, trim, metal sheeting, etc. Any number of these products can make very beautiful furniture or wall decorations with lots of character.

Phenomenal. He’s been very responsive to communications, very get-act, he asked and what he needs from us. Most importantly, he was able to work with us to meet the budget we would like to be in settle.  I think one of the things that I found very unique about his offering was that, he provided a line item, then, housework.  So we haven’t repeated yet. But eventually, line item by line item in the contract, and they will tell you exactly how much it cost, and tell you how much time you spent on them, and he will charge appropriately. So he estimates high, and then, generally, comes in lower than that. What we are getting from our money’s standpoint was that, I feel really confident.

Phil was outstanding in his professional responses, and in his carpentry skills. We couldn't have found a kinder, more ethical or more skilled professional. We found we could trust Phil completely to do the job right. He went above and beyond our expectations.  He has excellent communication skills, with a willingness to do whatever was needed to get the job done right. Even the building inspector said that it was nice to see a project where the builder took pride in his work.
