Patrick responds promptly to remove snow after each snowfall. But, his use of a truck and snowplow for my small residential driveway was overkill. The grass on both sides of the driveway was damaged and he hit the garage door once. Initially, he was also pulling the snow from my driveway into the street and pushing it in front of a neighbor's yard, until I told him to stop doing that.

Patrick does a good job, but he has an unusual fee arrangement. He basically works on a monthly retainer, servicing the lawn depending on the weather. So, if the weather is dry during a month and he only provides service for one week that month, he still charges for the entire month.

Basically, he is well intentioned and does good work. Lawn mowing was good (except for a few peonies dropped with the weed-whacker). However, communication needs work. Mr. Brown is self-admittedly poor at returning voice mail messages. I wasn't sure until after I left town that he would actually do the work. I wasn't sure until I talked to him upon my return whether he was going to do one final cut. To his credit, he was willing to take this temporary job (some lawn services won't) and gave me a discount on account of the communication problems. To give a higher rating, I would expect him to improve communications.

He never came out for the estimate and never called me back.

It went quite well and he was pleasant to work with.

Overall, I am very pleased with the job that he does. The yard always looks great when he is done. He mows weekly and removes snow when it snows. I have several little paths that I like cleared and they have to be done by hand and he has no problem doing them.
